Acts | Live Ready
2026/10/05
In this sermon, Pastor Scott preaches from Acts 8:26–40.
We studied the story of Philip, an ordinary follower of Jesus who was chosen as one of seven men to make sure widows got food. Through Philip’s obedience to God’s leading and his encounter with the Ethiopian eunuch, we see the importance of living ready to obey God’s call and being equipped in His Word so we can explain the good news of Jesus to those He places in our path.

Jesus and Hope | Hope's 25th Anniversary
2026/09/28
As we celebrated our 25th anniversary, we welcomed back our Founding Pastor, Vance Pitman.
For 25 years, we've witnessed God's faithfulness in how He's been using Hope Church to bring people to Himself. In this message, Pastor Vance preaches from Luke 4:42–43, reminding us of who Jesus is and His heart's desire to expand His kingdom, and encouraging us to keep depending on God as we seek first His Kingdom, and live on mission to expand His kingdom.
Acts | Real Power
2026/09/21
In this sermon, Pastor Scott Worthington preaches from Acts 8:9-25.
Scott asks the question in a Word where so much seems fake how can we know what's real? Scott leads us to look to the Gospel and trust Jesus, He is our only source of power and authority.
Acts | The Irony of Persecution
2026/09/14
In this sermon, Pastor Tom McCormick preaches from Acts 8:1–8.
In this passage, we see how God used the persecution and scattering of the early church to advance the gospel beyond Jerusalem. What looked like the church’s darkest days became a launching pad for the gospel, bringing salvation and joy to Samaria and beyond. God is still doing that today.
The persecution we face as Christians, God will use it to spread the gospel and display His glory. Check out this sermon to learn more.
Good News for Everyone | All Things New
2026/09/07
In this sermon, Pastor Jordan Caro preached from 2 Corinthians 5:17-20.
The gospel is more than good news we hear; it is good news that calls for a response, creates a new kind of life, and gives us a new mission. As we look at what it means to live in the reality of Jesus’ resurrection, we’ll discover how the gospel changes us personally and sends us out as ambassadors of reconciliation while we wait for God to make all things new.

Good News for Everyone | The Greatest Invitation
2026/08/31
In this sermon, Pastor Scott preaches from John 3:16.
God’s greatest invitation to us is a love, intimate relationship with Him. We take a look at two stories in the Bible where we see this truth played out: the story of Nicodemus and the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman. Through their stories, we learn that no matter who you are, what you’ve done, or where you came from, the God of the universe wants a relationship with you!

Good News for Everyone | The Gospel in the Air
2026/08/24
Have you ever wondered what the story of the gospel is and what it means for you? In this message, Pastor Scott preached from Colossians 1:15-20, and he explained the gospel story in four movements: (1) Creation, (2) Fall, (3) Redemption, and (4) Restoration.
We were also reminded that the gospel is not just the first step to get into the Christian life, but it is the Christian life! As Christians, we don’t move on from the gospel, but continue to live in Christ’s resurrection life and be ambassadors of Christ as we wait from Him to restore all things.

Good New for Everyone | The Life-Changing Gospel
2026/08/17
As we kick off our series, Good News for Everyone, Pastor Scott preaches from 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
Though our key verses are 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, we also walk through the Romans Road, a path Christians have used for many years to communicate the gospel. As we walk down this road, we’ll clearly see what the gospel is and why it really is good news for everyone.
If you’ve been wondering what the gospel is and what it means for you today, or if you’re struggling with shame or guilt over your sin, this message is for you!
Acts | The First Martyr
2026/08/09
In this sermon, Pastor Scott Worthington preached from Acts 7:54–60, the story of Stephen’s martyrdom.
There is a version of Christianity being sold that says following Jesus means everything will go well for you. But the truth is this: Follow Jesus, and you get Jesus, come what may.
Stephen was a faithful follower of Jesus who was martyred for speaking the truth of God’s Word. His story reminds us that we too will face hardship as we follow Jesus. But in whatever we’re facing, we can take comfort in knowing that we are not alone. God is with us.

Acts | Turning a Blind Eye to God's Plan
2026/08/02
Pastor Jeff Phillips, our Congregation Pastor of Henderson, joins us this weekend as he preaches from Acts 7:1-53.
From the beginning, God has been making Himself known to the world so that we can know Him, His love, plans, and desires for us. Through this passage, we find some of the ways God demonstrates His love and are challenged to examine how we respond to His love. Will we turn a blind eye, or will we receive His love?

From Thirst to Triumph
2026/07/26
In the final week of our series, Anchored: A Journey Through Isaiah 55, Pastor Patrick teaches from Isaiah 55:12–13.
To a weary and discouraged nation living in exile, God promised the Israelites that He could take what had been ruined and create something with purpose again. He promised they would go out with joy and be led forth in peace. That same promise of restoration, joy, and peace is still extended to us through Jesus today.

Anchored | Every Reason to Come
2026/07/19
In this sermon, Pastor Jordan Caro preaches from Isaiah 55:6-11.
God extends an invitation to the Israelites living in disobedience to return to Him, showing them that He is a God who abundantly pardons. That same invitation is extended to us today: no matter how far we've wandered or how often we've fallen short, God calls us to come back because His compassion and forgiveness are abundant.

Jesus is So Much Better
2026/07/12
In week 2 of Anchored: A Journey Through Isaiah 55, Pastor Eric Shelner, our Boulder City Congregation Pastor, preaches from Isaiah 55:3-5.
In this sermon, we're challenged to reflect on why we so often settle for mediocre satisfaction in our spiritual lives. What things or people, whether worldly pursuits or even good Christian activities, are replacing time spent with Jesus? Pastor Eric reminds us that whatever we're placing above Him, Jesus is far better.

Anchored | Isaiah 55 | An Invitation to Be Satisfied
2026/07/05
In our Anchored series, we're journeying through Isaiah 55. In this sermon, Pastor Scott preaches from Isaiah 55:1-3, where God invites everyone who thirsts to come and be satisfied in Him.
Together, we explore why the things of this world can never truly fulfill our deepest needs, how true satisfaction can only be found in Jesus, and what it looks like to pursue lasting satisfaction through a relationship with Him.
Acts | Confronting the Christlike
2026/06/28
In this sermon, Pastor Scott preaches from Acts 6:8–15.
What is the goal of the Christian life? It is a relationship with God where He changes me, little by little, to look more like Jesus. From this passage, we learn from Stephen’s life, a follower of Jesus who faced persecution, that as we as we abide in Christ, we become more like Jesus, and the more we become like Jesus, the more opposition we will face. However, as followers of Jesus, we can remain confident in the face of opposition.
How can we do that? Check out this sermon to learn more
