This week on Girl, Did You Watch? We get into the unexpected comedy of Queenpins starring Kristen Bell, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Paul Walter Hauser and Vince Vaugn. A movie about a best friend duo who get caught up in an epic coupon scheme. (4:32) Then we take a complete pivot and discuss one of HBO's newest documentaries, What Happened To Brittany Murphy? Which delves into the unexpected death of the young and spunky Hollywood star. (33:42) And of course, we fill each other in and everything else we're watching and what's next on our watchlist. It's Pumpkin Spice season which means it's time to break out our flannels and cozy up with our fall TV favorites. This week we get into two season premiers that we've been waiting on the edge of our seats for. We had to start things off with our beloved Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Premier. The Grey Sloan crew is now faced with life in a post-COVID world, and we are grappling with our feelings about a time that we have yet to experience ourselves.  Then we get into Sindy's long time favorite show, Survivor. A new watch for Maddie, Sindy helps break down the rules, what's changed now that the show is shaking things up, and what we might be able to expect through the rest of the season. This week we get into two very different watches. We start off with We Broke Up (5:08) a dramedy starring Aya Cash and William Jackson Harper. Longtime couple Lori and Doug break up days before Lori's little sister Bea's wedding to Jayson. In order to not disrupt the wedding, Lori and Doug decide to pretend they're still together until the weekend is over. A movie we wanted to love but finished feeling pretty indifferent on. Then we get into our newest obsession Only Murders In The Building, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez (15:10). Hulu's newest hit, where three strangers who share an obsession with true crime suddenly find themselves caught up in one. This week we're bringing it back to where it all began MTV's The Challenge: Lies, Spies and Allies (2:35) we're only 3 episodes in but there's no lack of drama both on and off the screen.  We delve into our initial thoughts on the challenges, the challengers and the love triangle between Ashley, Nelson and Berna (a love triangle we are thoroughly confused by). This week we get into the Bachelorette Finale, a finale we've both been waiting for since before Katie's season even started. We get DEEP as we chat about Kevin Hart's newest film, Fatherhood. A film that tugged at all of our heart strings and proved that Kevin Hart can deliver more than just the laughs. And of course we had to delve into the MESS that is the Kardashian family and the Keeping Up reunion with Andy Cohen. We wrap things up with our own recommendations for each other. This week on Girl, Did You Watch? we get into The Grey's Anatomy season finale and In The Heights. We've been Grey's fans since the beginning and still can't get enough of this chaotic ass show. In The Heights left us both feeling excited about Latinx representation in the media and had us both in our feelings for different reasons. We're back for season 2 of Girl, Did You Watch? And we're pullin a Ross and making a PIVOT. This season we'll be recappin' various shows and movies. We HAD to kick things off with the FRIENDS Reunion because it is so near and dear to our hearts.
