Sarah Callaham shares the fascinating history of Pilates and the philosophy behind it, and how it has progressed over time within the wellness space, explaining the rise of Pilates is due to the realisation that fitness is a more minded approach.
Discovering her passion for sports at a young age, Sarah soon discovered she was experiencing hypermobility within the joints due to it being overworked. After a month of starting Pilates, Sarah could finally walk without any pain, which inspired her work at The Body Method, taking on the vision of being the space for holistic fitness, she ensures that The Body Method's inclusive philosophy and cultural values continue to welcome people into the family. Over the years she has had many little achievements of movements, however, they were massive wins to partially paralysed and quadriplegic patients Sarah treated with Pilates.
