Follow along with me on this episode of Alpha Moms as I read the article:  10 Ways to Build and Preserve Better BoundariesMedically reviewed by Jacquelyn Johnson, PsyD. — Written by Chantelle Pattemore — Updated on June 2, 2021  I hope this episode helps propel you forward with your growth journey and relationships as well. Self awareness is a huge part of growth. Emotional Intelligence is a large part of it. On this episode, I reference three articles written  by professionals along with my personal reflection on it. I hope this episode gives you perspective on how emotionally intelligent you are, your spouse is, and how we are educating our children to be emotionally intelligent. Enjoy this episode! Perspective v.s. Biased opinion & New Book We should All be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers
2022/04/01
On today's episode I talk about the layers to being on a "side" of a trending event. Why do we gravitate towards a certain opinion? Our experiences in life and who we are fans of could make our view points biased.  On social media we put energy into choosing a side or bringing up someone's past to prove they are a "bad person too".  We can put energy into who's right and who's wrong, but can we put our energy into turning into the better version of ourselves?  New favorite book alert! We Should All be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers  -Women Empowerment -The history of women and money  -changing your mindset  -making million dollar decisions  I'm adding consulting to my business! Gentle parenting or Mom Shaming?! What are you watching?
2022/03/25
On today's episode I discuss the tik tok trends on gentle parenting.  Is this new trend just another way to shame moms? There are great perks to minding your own business and sometimes we need to do that. Parenting ideas and approaches should be inspiring not a way to hurt others. Gentle parenting is a privilage  and on this episode I list how and why?  Also what new shows are on Netflix/Hulu  and beyond the app universe?  Enjoy this new episode and thank you for listening.  Support the show (https://cash.app/$AlphaMomsPodcast)
What we are conditioned to think, kardashians, society "agenda" vs parenting
2022/03/18
How aware are we of how we sound? Do we complain a lot or are we positive?  Part of being self aware is listening to ourselves speak.  Kardashian comments "get off our lazy asses", remember the source with comments like this. Do you follow women who uplift women? How much weight does a celebrity hold with influence?  Does society have an agenda with our children? What is the thought mindset behind this? Are we so afraid of an agenda that we don't have enough confidence in our own parenting?  Does having multiple baby dads/moms really matter? The double standard is still there, and it sounds like we are policing womens' sexuality and judging whats been happening since the beginning of time.  Support the show (https://cash.app/$AlphaMomsPodcast)

Alpha Moms episode 28 Making decisions and taking your power back
2022/02/22
On this episode of Alpha Moms I talk about feeling stuck in life and how to pull yourself out of it. Once we realize how to be selfish and make those decisions for ourselves than we can learn how to move forward with our happiness. We are only as stuck as we allow ourselves to be. Growing through hard times only makes us stronger. We all have the power to make changes in our lives for the better and we can't always rely on others to do fix it for us.  I hope this episode reminds you of your strength and courage to do and be whomever you want to be. Alpha Moms episode 25 Tolerance v.s. Perspective
2021/12/03
Thank you for listening to this new episode of Alpha Moms. On this episode I talk about Tolerance v/s perspective and reference two articles The Slippery Slope of Tolerance and Tolerance Day, the power of perspective by Ken Wells.  We all are on a spectrum, the human spectrum. Not everyone human is made exactly like the other (unless identical) and we still have our own thoughts. Instead of fighting for what you feel is right why not understand why someone else feels the way they do? Is being tolerant trending so much that we tolerate even the most egregious things because of "equal opportunities?" I explain how there are nuances to the range of humans we see today and instead of fighting for everyone to think the same, why not just try to understand why someone feels differently?   thanks for listening!  Support the show (https://cash.app/$AlphaMomsPodcast)
