2026/10/02
I had the absolute honor of sitting down with Natalie Grace to break down her powerhouse performance as Katie Cannon in Lee Cronin’s The Mummy! From enduring grueling hours in heavy prosthetics to navigating claustrophobic practical sets, Natalie’s ability to anchor such intense physical transformation with raw emotional vulnerability is extraordinary to watch. Stepping into a legacy horror franchise is daunting for any actor—but taking on the titular terror under the direction of modern horror master Lee Cronin is another beast entirely. Natalie didn't just step into the role; she completely commanded it. Season 6, Episode 56: Exclusive First Interview with Valentina Lucido (Abby Marsh) from “The Other People” (2025)
2026/09/30
In Chad McClarnon’s psychological thriller, The Other People, terror does not announce itself with screeching violins or abrupt jump scares; it lingers quietly in the periphery, taking root in the fractured vulnerabilities of a blended family. At the emotional center of this escalating dread is Valentina Lucido, whose portrayal of Abby balances youthful fragility with a chilling, palpable sense of isolation. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Valentina to get a sense of the craft behind sustaining dread, and what it takes to find stillness amid the shadows. As she proved to be an outstanding and talented actress, she holds a compelling pivotal role in the film as we get to witness her sharp instinct for nuanced storytelling. I must admit that I was moved and very impressed with her paramount performance and that everyone should experience this movie in the theater or at home as soon as it becomes available. The film should be available on the major digital platforms where movies are purchased or rented, primarily Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Google Play and other platforms to be confirmed at a later time. You can follow Valentina on Instagram at @valentina_lucido
Season 6, Episode 55: Interview with Stephanie Gomes Hogan (Katie) from “I Know Exactly How You Die” (2026)
2026/09/28
Welcome back, horror fans! Today, we are diving into a film that takes the phrase 'writer's block' to a terrifying new level. We are talking about the brilliant new 2026 indie thriller, I Know Exactly How You Die. Directed by Alexandra Speith, this movie asks a chilling question: what happens when a hack writer's slasher novel starts manifesting in the real world? Joining us in this episode is the fantastic Stephanie Hogan, who stars as Katie—a grounded drug counselor who unwittingly becomes the protagonist of this real-life nightmare, hunted by a sadistic stalker straight from an author's twisted imagination. We talked talk about meta-fiction, survival rules, and outsmarting the script. We also discussed the behind the scenes of I Know Exactly How You Die and sharing what it is like to play a character trapped in someone else’s terrifying script. Her performance as Katie anchors the entire meta-nightmare perfectly, bringing so much heart and grit to the screen. For everyone watching at home, if you are looking for a slasher with a wildly clever twist and fantastic tension, you have to add I Know Exactly How You Die to your watch list.
Season 6, Episode 54: Interview with Andrew Divoff (The Djinn/Nathaniel Demerest) from “Wishmaster” (1997)
2026/09/23
Welcome back, horror fans! Today, in this interview we are opening up the ancient, dusty vaults of late-90s practical horror to talk about a film that gave us one of the absolute most charismatic and terrifying villains in cinema history. We are talking about the 1997 cult classic, Wishmaster! Directed by special effects master Robert Kurtzman and executive produced by Wes Craven, this film introduced us to a creature who didn't hunt you with a knife or a glove—he hunted you with your own deepest desires. It was an absolute honor and pleasure to sit down with the Wishmaster himself and to gain insight about his dual role and the movie. Andrew, the man who brought that legendary nightmare to life. Andrew pulled off a masterclass in dual performance, playing both the grotesque, ancient Djinn and his slick, human alter-ego, Nathaniel Demerest. From his iconic, gravelly voice to his incredible physical acting, Andrew defined an era of horror and he should be added to the Mount Rushmore of Horror.
Season 6, Episode 53: Interview with Brigid Brannagh (Sasha) from “Kindred: The Embraced” (1996)
2026/09/21
It was a world governed by strict laws, brutal clan rivalries, and the dangerous secrecy of the Masquerade. And right at the beating, human heart of that vampire underworld was Sasha—a fierce, independent mortal caught between the Prince of the City and the rebellious Brujah clan. It was an absolute delight, pleasure, honor, and another dream come true to sit down and speak to Brigid about her role in one of my all-time favorite vampire series. Brigid is a very talented and brilliant actress who gave us one of the most absolute compelling character arcs of the entire series. Blending the dark, gothic scene with the luxurious, this show made it work. Nothing like I have ever seen before, and something you can immerse yourself into without primetime drama. Hearing the behind-the-scenes reality of bringing the Brujah clan to life and exploring what could have been in Season 2 has been absolutely magical for us and the fans. Although the series cannot be found on any streaming service, full episodes and the complete series are frequently available to watch for free on YouTube playlists. Additionally, You can buy out-of-print DVD sets like the complete series on Amazon if available from third-party sellers.
Season 6, Episode 52: Interview with Judith Roberts (Mary Shaw) from “Dead Silence” (2007)
2026/09/16
Welcome back, horror fans! Follow me as we are stepping into the quiet, fog-shrouded town of Ravens Fair to talk about a film that has become an absolute crown jewel of 2000s supernatural horror: James Wan’s 2007 cult classic, Dead Silence. It’s a movie that taught an entire generation to keep their mouths shut, thanks to one of the most terrifying, theatrical villains in cinema history. I was joined by legendary Judith Roberts, the brilliant actress who brought the vengeful, tongue-snatching ventriloquist Mary Shaw to life. From her haunting theatricality to her chilling, doll-like stare, Judith created a horror icon that still gives fans nightmares nearly two decades later. from her stunningly macabre prosthetic makeup to the unforgettable nursery rhyme "Beware the stare of Mary Shaw", she delivered a uniquely terrifying villain that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with modern horror icons, and it was an absolute honor to have her with me. From her stunningly macabre prosthetic makeup to the unforgettable nursery rhyme "Beware the stare of Mary Shaw", Judith delivered a uniquely terrifying villain that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with modern horror icons. Speaking to her has been an absolute dream—or perhaps a beautifully crafted nightmare! Sharing the secrets of Mary Shaw's physical transformation, and reflecting on her incredible collaboration with James Wan. Her theatrical brilliance is exactly what made Mary Shaw so unforgettable. For everyone watching at home, if you haven’t visited Ravens Fair lately, do yourself a favor and revisit Dead Silence — just remember the golden rule if you see her in your dreams. Season 6, Episode 51: Interview with Lara Fourie (Dead Sister) from “Insidious: Out of the Further” (2026)
2026/09/14
In this interview, which is Lara’s first for this movie, we are opening the red door once again, but this time, the rules have completely changed. We are talking about Insidious: Out of the Further, the highly anticipated sixth installment in the legendary Blumhouse franchise. Directed by Jacob Chase, this new chapter flips the script—instead of our characters getting trapped in the smoky, demon-filled realm of 'The Further,' those terrifying entities are being dragged out into our reality. I sat down with the amazing and talented Lara Fourie who may have had a short sequence, but she had a lot to say about this film. She took me into the further and she presented a lot of insight and context for behind the scenes of one of the most iconic horror franchises in the world. Hearing about the practical scares, the shattered boundary of the further, and the incredible energy on that Melbourne set just makes me even more excited to see this chaos unfold on the big screen. For everyone watching at home, prepare yourselves. Insidious: Out of the Further changed the rules of the franchise forever. And to all our viewers—keep those red doors locked, leave a light on, and I will see you next time! Be sure to follow Lara Fourie in Instagram @ llarafourie

2026/09/11
Welcome back, horror hounds and cinema fans! Today, we are taking a trip back to the neon-soaked halls of Hamilton High. I was joined by Elizabeth Gondek, and we spoke about the 1987 cult classic, Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II. Elizabeth Gondek, who brought to life the character of Jess Browning. Jess gave us one of the most atmospheric and shocking sequences in the entire film—a showdown in the art room that perfectly captured the practical movie magic of the era. Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II has built a massive, passionate cult following over nearly four decades, with many fans ranking it as one of the most delightfully fun slasher sequels ever made. Speaking to Elizabeth was an absolute treat. She shared so many incredible behind-the-scenes stories with us. 2026/09/09
Welcome back, horror fans! In this interview, we are wading deep into the muddy, blood-drenched waters of the Florida Everglades. We are talking about Gator Face, the incredible new slasher from director Padraig Reynolds that is taking the indie horror world by storm. This film is a massive love letter to 1970s grindhouse cinema, and in an era of digital green screens, it proudly features zero CGI—relying entirely on real practical effects, real gore, and very real alligators. I was joined by the fantastic Tabitha Brownstone, who stars as Claire, a vacationer whose trip to the swamp turns into a grueling fight for survival against a crazed, reptilian-worshipping cult. Talking to Tabitha was such a blast! Hearing about what it takes to film a raw, old-school horror movie in the middle of a literal swamp with real gators makes us appreciate your performance as Claire even more. Season 6, Episode 48: Interview with Joy Suprano (Rita) from “Crystal Lake” (2026)
2026/09/07
Joy and I dove deep into one of the most highly anticipated television events of the year. On October 15, 2026, Peacock and A24 are officially taking us back to the place where the nightmare began. The new prequel series Crystal Lake promises to deliver a masterclass in 1970s psychological dread, showing us the tragic, twisted origins of Camp Crystal Lake before the legends were born. In Crystal Lake, Joy steps into the recurring role of Rita, a character navigating the rising paranoia and dark secrets of a town on the brink of tragedy. This has been an absolutely fascinating look behind the scenes of what is sure to be the horror event of autumn. I would love to thank Joy so much for sharing her insights on building Rita, stepping into the atmospheric world of A24, and bringing us back to those legendary woods. For everyone watching at home, make sure to mark your calendars: Crystal Lake premieres on Peacock on October 15, 2026. You are not going to want to miss a single second of this psychological thriller.
Season 6, Episode 47: Interview with Dakota Gorman (Lena) from “Hellcat” (2025)
2026/09/04
Imagine waking up severely wounded, locked inside the back of a moving camper trailer, with no memory of how you got there. Your only connection to the outside world is the disembodied voice of the driver coming through a crackling intercom—a man who claims he’s trying to save your life, even as his stories become increasingly unhinged. Today, I’m thrilled to be sitting down with the film's incredible and very talented lead, Dakota Gorman. Dakota plays Lena, a woman trapped in a moving Airstream who is forced into a deadly psychological chess match with her unseen driver. What an absolute phenomenal interview! Sitting down with Dakota was an amazing experience and to hear what she had to say about her role and the movie. We spoke about the psychological aspect of misguiding the audience and provoking the thoughts of conspiracy theories, the festival runs, her experiencing the movie for the first time on the big screen, and how the stakes completely shifted by feeling relieved after the production of the sequences. A massive thank you to Dakota Gorman for pulling back the curtain on such an intense shoot. It takes a very special kind of talent to hold an audience’s attention when you are confined to a single room for 90 minutes, and Dakota absolutely nailed the physical and emotional exhaustion of Lena’s nightmare. If you haven't experienced this incredible, white-knuckle ride yet, Hellcat is currently available on Shudder.
Season 6, Episode 46: Interview with Leah Verrill (Susan) from “Blood Born” (2021)
2026/09/03
The desire to start a family is one of the deepest human instincts we have, but in the 2021 occult thriller Blood Born, that desperation is exploited by a sinister, ritualistic cult. As a struggling couple invites a mysterious witch doctor into their home to help them conceive, those on the outside must watch a quiet nightmare unfold. I was joined today by Leah Verrill, who plays Susan, a crucial character positioned on the periphery of this escalating madness. We talked about building chemistry on a tight-knit indie set, the physical demands of suspense acting, and what it’s like working with a modern occult script. A huge thank you to Leah Verrill for sharing her experience bringing Blood Born to life. It is always fascinating to hear how actors on the periphery of a horror story work to ground the realism, acting as the audience's anchor as the world around them descends into supernatural chaos. If you are ready for a suspenseful, ritual-heavy thriller, Blood Born is currently streaming on Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV.
Season 6, Episode 45: Interview with Kym Jackson (Lieutenant Wilkie) from “We Bury the Dead” (2024)
2026/08/31
I am absolutely thrilled that I had the opportunity to sit down with Kym Jackson and talk to her about her role in this roller coaster of post-apocalyptic zombie film. Not only is this movie gripping, but it’s also an emotionally charged thriller that will keep you from looking away. Although Kym’s character is experiencing grief and attempting to navigate her way through the messed-up world, she delivered her role with poise and excellence. For everyone watching and listening, please make sure to check out this phenomenal movie. It is a haunting and powerful ride that you do not want to miss. You can also follow Kym on Instagram to keep up with her latest projects and show her your support and love. Thank you all for watching and listening, until next time, stay spooky!
Season 6, Episode 44: Interview with Jospeh Morgan (Herbert West) from Herbert West: Reanimator (ND)
2026/08/28
Get ready for an epic episode, because I sat down with actual horror royalty, the brilliant and talented Joseph Morgan. You love him, you’ve obsessed over him as Klaus Mikaelson, and now he is playing a literal mad scientist.! He is starring as the chaotic titular doctor in Herbert West: Reanimator. We spoke about how he is literally stepping into a role famously defined by Jeffrey Combs and how he is going to balance honoring the iconic performance while making his own iterations. It was also brought up that he has not seen the 1985 adaptation, but he plans on watching it after this film is produced and released to make it more exciting. There are a lot of creative choices while producing a film regarding body horror and a mad scientist. However, I have a feeling that Joseph Morgan is going to deliver this role flawlessly and magnificently. I for one cannot wait to see this film in theaters, I am very excited to see which direction this is going to go and how it will resonate with the audience. Do not miss Joseph Morgan doing what he does best—being beautifully unhinged—in Herbert West: Reanimator. This was an absolute blast. To everyone watching, hit that subscribe button, smash the like, and let me know if you’d trust this man with a syringe in the comments.
Season 6, Episode 43: Interview with Hailey Kittle (Melissa) from Eli Roth’s “Ice Cream Man” (2026)
2026/08/26
I was thrilled to be joined by the talented Hailey Kittle. You might recognize her from her previous work in the genre, including Trick VR Treat, but today we are talking about her latest collaboration with modern horror master Eli Roth in the 2026 thriller, Ice Cream Man. Hailey takes on the role of Melissa, a teacher who goes from managing a classroom to fighting for survival. We’ll be diving into the intense energy of an Eli Roth set, the dynamics of working with child actors in a terrifying movie, and the physical toll of starring in a high-octane slasher. A massive thank you to Hailey Kittle for surviving the Ice Cream Man set long enough to come tell us all about it! It sounds like this movie is going to deliver exactly the kind of unapologetic, visceral horror that Eli Roth fans have been waiting for. You can catch Hailey fighting for her life in Ice Cream Man, now in theaters.
