After making my 4th playable faction for Revelations: Skirmish, I felt it was a good time to discuss what I learned creatively from that experience.

In this episode I begin to share some of my behind the scenes process in creating a new miniatures game. 

Hype is good. But it can get too extreme and tempt you to make changes or alter your plans in ways you didn't want to. Let's discuss how I go about this. 

This will seem like quite a different episode than normal, but I feel it is a relevant discussion to what is happening now. 

This topic is more for advanced development. If you are just starting to create the lore for your universe do not jump to this step.

There may come a time when you need to considering quitting your project. But, maybe it isn't just yet. 

If you are a creative person you probably are bombarded by news ideas throughout this journey. Some are good ideas, and others are distractions. How can you tell the difference? 

Finding motivation when you feel like you have tried so much is difficult. But, I want to ask some questions to help refocus your thoughts so you can better see the path forward. 

During your creative process if you go with Kickstarter or some other crowdfunding you may find yourself with more money than you were expecting. What then? In this episode Rick details a bit of his own journey and coming to the realization that he wasn't quite as ready as he thought he was for moderate success.
