Growing up with Bodegas on every corner, Evelyn Brito saw the value these “corner stores” had in our communities. This led the filmmaker to create the web series “Bodega Makeover”, to bring store improvements and healthy eating options to communities around the nation.

All through the lens of his camera, Julian Leshay has been a part of history within the Black Lives Matter Movement- from small suburban towns in New Jersey, to the streets of New York City and Washington D.C.
