He is a recent resident of the valley, coming to us from Ohio where he spent much of his career dedicated to and focused on community and economic development. Dr. Whitehead commits much of his time to the community. He is an active member of the Phenix City Rotary Club and the East Alabama Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the board of the Chamber Foundation as well as many non profit organizations. Dr. Whitehead is an accomplished community servant and we are so pleased to have the opportunity to talk with him. He helped us understand what the Phenix City Housing Authority does, their goals for the community, and how they offer so much more than just housing.

On this episode we are joined by Chris Bryant. Chris is the President and CEO of the YMCA of Metropolitan Columbus. He has been with YMCA for more than 20 years, working as branch directors for several Columbus locations before he became President and CEO in 2020.
