Nick’s story

Nick has been through the care system, prison system and has suffered through addiction. He was smuggled out of Algeria as a child and had to find his way in the UK. From boarding schools to young offenders, Nick has lived an extraordinary life. He has turned all of this around and has given back in so many ways. He is now the director of a rehabilitation centre in Bali. He provides a safe and supported environment for people making the difficult transition from drug and Alcohol addiction, post rehab or in the early days of their recovery journey. Liz shares her experience of trying to get into recovery, after being addicted to heroin & crack After numerous prison sentences, Liz has completely transformed her life and is now in long term recovery. Liz lives and breathes the healthy mind, body and soul ethos. Liz also supports others battling addiction and mental health and advocates for them. Liz is currently running an online program empowering women to achieve their career goals. Recently divorced and a single mum, Liz’s resilience and positive attitude to life is absolutely inspiring.
Tirzah’s Story

Tirzah talks about growing up in South East london and how his life turned from using party drugs and having fun to being addicted to drugs, which led him spending time in Her majesty prison system. Tirzah talks about how he managed to turn his life around and is now giving back to the very same establishment that helped him get long term recovery. This is an inspiring heartfelt story of a man overcoming his battle with addiction and everything else that comes with it. Natalie Story
2021/05/25
Natalie was the victim of sexual abuse and rape at a young age, along with an absent father this sent her on a path of complete self-destruct. This led to domestic abuse, substance abuse, prisons, suicide attempts and utter chaos. At 22, just out of prison and finding herself pregnant it would send her on a healing journey. To say the story ended there would be an understatement. Her journey to healing has not always been easy and has been paved with many more painful experiences and toxic relationships. Despite it all she was determined to heal and learn how to fiercely love herself. She now works with pregnant teens,teens in abusive relationships and delivers domestic abuse recovery courses. She is also a Self-esteem and relationship coach teaching others to heal from their past and stand in their power.
Frankie’s Story

Frankie’s inspirational story is about him trying to navigate his way through life, whilst battling his drug addiction, being street homeless and after numerous prison sentences and admissions to several rehabs, Frankie finally found his way in life. Frankie talks about being a qualified counsellor and being outreach worker to being a founding member of a company and Art dealer. Frankie who has just celebrated 18 years clean now lives in North Somerset with his wife & dog . This is an amazing transformation story, one that shows that change is possible. Roxie’s Story

Roxie’s inspirational story is about her battling clinical depression as early teen and then going onto battle alcohol misuse in her 20s. Roxie shares some heartfelt moments about the negative impact alcohol has had in her life. Roxie also talks about her mental well-being in sobriety and how she manages this. Now in long term recovery, Roxie is a Wellbeing~Coach, trainer and speaker with a proven track-record in facilitating deep and lasting change. She runs bespoke coaching programs based on science, spirituality and positive psychology, helping people from all walks of life become happier within. She is an advocate for breaking the stigma around mental health and addiction and has spoken in companies such as LinkedIn as well as many local rehabs. Roxie lives in Bournemouth with her son Preston and dog Frank!
James Story Episode #3

James has had an incredible life. He has lived experience of poverty, drug addiction, street homelessness and criminality. His rock-bottom was the catalyst for change and he now supports vulnerable young people with complex needs, has an Honours Degree & is a social justice advocate. He gives platforms to disadvantaged people, who trust James because of his history. He is a father of three and gives back selflessly and wholeheartedly to children and families who are struggling. Raushia’s Story Episode #2

This is an incredibly inspiring conversation between Soul and Raushia. Raushia has overcome so much in her life. She had a very difficult time, battling mental health, addiction and racism. She spent time in prison and eventually made her way to rehab, where she began to rebuild her life. She had 2 children and had to learn to re-parent herself as well as them. She has worked hard to re-educate herself and is now giving back to others who walk the same path as her. She is a qualified supervisor and accredited counsellor and a trustee for women in prison. She is currently working with women affected by domestic violence. I hope you are moved by her tenacity and strength of spirit. She is a true role model.

This is an inspiring story of transformation, with a 39 year old from Hackney, East London, outlining his journey from children’s homes, secure units and spending 19 of his birthdays behind bars. Joe has been there and lived on the margins of society.
