EP 235 - Indiana's Jones and the Lost GM
2026/10/20
Another week of action, another week of surprises – but this time some of those results have major consequences. The headline is that the Colts defeat to the Titans sees them make a change at GM, but can Daniel Jones and Sauce Gardner rediscover the form that made them faces of the franchise in Indy. If you think it is all getting exciting for the Colts, the guys seem to think this change won’t be the last as a number of fancied franchises under perform. Elsewhere the chat is around which teams could already count 2026 as a lost season, the Chargers for sure, but maybe the Eagles and Bucs too? All this chatter comes your way with the usual features, including a crazy toughest quiz question. We hope you enjoy it!
EP 234 - No Ones '0' is Gonna Go...Surely
2026/10/13
All the chatter this week is around the surprises around the league. As the calamitous performances out of the NFC East take some headlines, the rest are reserved for the list of teams at 0-5 and 5-0. In the week ahead two teams are either end of this span face off as the winless Chargers face the league leading Chiefs…surely an easy game to pick…you’d have thought… All this jibber-jabber is flanked by the features you love. Thanks for checking us out. Enjoy!
EP 233 - The Bryce is Right
2026/10/08
Nice to see you, to see you, Bryce, as this week the guys throw some well-earned ‘props’ to the Carolina Panthers star QB Bryce Young. His Panthers outfit are one of a few surprise packages this season, alongside the Browns and a Vikings side that sit 4-0 while owning the worst offensive stats in football! If this are the good news stories, the guys also break down whether any teams at 0-4 have any shot at redemption. All this plus the features you know and love. Thanks for dropping by.
EP 232 - Are the Jax Looking More Like Aces?
2026/10/01
Well, who saw Week 3 coming? A week that started with a surprise win for the Falcons – and the shocks just kept on coming… Whether it was veteran Case Keenum turning back the clock, or Marcus Mariota putting on a show, one of the themes of Week 3 was undoubtedly the handsome victories delivered by back-up QBs. The ever increasing number of teams with injuries to key players and some notable trades in recent days make it hard to assess who really could go and complete this year – and then there’s Jacksonville! With so many teams a week-to-week proposition, how great is it for us in the UK to see our beloved Jags being one of the few that seem to be a genuine contender – particularly with some games on UK soil just around the corner. All this chat, plus all the features you know and love. Enjoy!
EP 231 - Bear Do They Go From Here?
2026/09/22
Week 2 was the week we thought would help us understand who is legit and who is not it…well, so much for that! On the other side of those match-ups we are left with very few teams on a roll, with most the league feeling like a week-to-week proposition at 1 and 1. Amongst the teams to tumble were the Bears, and with their QB1 and QB2 likely to miss time, what hopes do Chicago still have of a season ending in glory? In this episode the guys will charge beyond the countless confusing and conflicting narratives and provide absolute clarity on who is truly on the up and who is down and out – spoiler alert, Chargers fans, look away now. So, all this, plus the usual quizzing and banter you are used to. Thanks for listening.
EP 230 - Stick a Fork in Week 1, It Was a Banger!
2026/09/15
If you love offense then Week 1 was a dream scenario as an NFL fan, but with a week for coaches to work on tightening up those leaky defences, the question for the guys is what does Week 2 have in store? This question leads the guys to wonder just how good could the Bears be? Are the Jags finally becoming an AFC powerhouse? And, were we too early to count out the Chiefs? As well as this the guys just revel in talking real meaningful football…and still manage to squeeze a question in for good measure. Thanks for checking us out 😊
EP 229 - Fourth Down....Under?
2026/09/07
It’s Week 1 Baby!!!!! For as much as we hope the pods over the last few months have provided their fair share of entertainment, there is something about talking about meaningful football that just hits different, particularly when Week 1 has some bangers for us right out of the gate. For us the real highlight is none other that the first ever Regular Season tilt being played in Australia, where the much-fancied Rams battle the perennially competitive 49ers in a game which could prove to be a contest for the ages! As well as all this you'll be g;lad to hear there is also some top tier jibber-jabber and even some quizzing to enjoy. Thanks for listening 😊
EP 228 - Will Mustn't Levis this Way!
2026/09/01
In the modern day NFL the pre-season can sometimes feel less and less like an event - some great moments undoubtedly – but maybe less in common with the meaningful action that follows than was the case years ago. But as we move beyond those hazy memories, a new season on the horizon means some real excitement and chance for the guys to go big! What could be bigger then than making some big predictions on who’ll be listing trophies this season? Listen in as the guys pick their conference and Superbowl winners with some big surprises on both sides of the conference divide! Factoring into those equations the guys talk about recent roster moves, a chatter than ends up with our trio debating what could be next for recently released former Titans QB Will Levis... All this plus the 'Toughest Quiz Question In All Of Podcasting'. It's a banger. Thanks for listening 😊
EP 227 - Everybody Needs Good Nabers
2026/08/24
Welcome back everyone in listener land...hope we didn't leave you hanging too long? Anyway, worry not, the guys are back and building the excitement and anticipation for another NFL season with their annual wild predictions. Although none have come true in 7 years and counting, there is just a chance that this year could be the year...and if it is, fans of the Giants in particular should be listening in! All this plus another of the toughest quiz question in all of podcasting. Enjoy!
EP 226 - Big Plans for the Rams
2026/07/30
Welcome back, as the kids say it's been a minute, but the guys are back talking football and bringing everyone up to speed on the stories that matter. Chief amongst these stories are the expectations around the LA Rams, big swings in Free Agency and the potential return of a generational defensive talent mean that they are many people's favourites... So join the guys as they unpack this and more, and tackle the first quiz question of the season....Season 7, crazy times.
EP 225 - Draftermath VI
2026/04/30
Some year’s a Draft has a little bit of everything, other times the drama of teams making big swings is replaced by something else... This year that something was a number of teams quietly going about their business, ‘letting the Draft come to them’ and landing some potentially Franchise changing talent! So in the episode the guys break down just who those Winners are in ‘26, with a reoccurring theme being that a number of teams that have struggled for years may have given themselves every chance of finally turning that corner. So, settle in for some Draft chatter and much more, including a quiz question for the ages! Thanks for listening...and good luck out there Panther's Guy.
EP 224 - Time for New Faces in New Places
2026/04/15
So, the draft is nearly here.  And while all related media is a wash with mock drafts andthe like, the guys at Club Dub are taking a slightly different tac. On this episode we focus on just the few key names that youshould be excited by if your franchise grabs them next Thursday.  So whether you are all about Quarterbacks, Running Backs or just love a Tight End like Aldren...we have you covered. All this prepares you for our post draft spectacular –Draftermath! Don't miss it. Thanks for listening! Catch you all soon.
EP 223 - 'Newbie QB's' and Our Review of Free Agency
2026/04/02
Hi everyone, it has been a while.  But the guys are back as promised with their views on ahead-scratching Free Agency in 2026.  In a season where over $4b has been spent, just who (if anyone) has got stronger? In this episode we’ll cover the QB’s making waves, theOffensive stars on the move and the Defensive guys who fanbases hope just may just be the missing piece for their franchise. All this….plus Rob calling the Vegas Raiders the OaklandRaiders….again. Enjoy!
EP 222 - A 'Walker' in the Park for Seattle
2026/02/11
Superbowl 60 was a strange beast, in that a great performance from the Seahawks didn't quite translate into being a great game. While the game wasn't an instant classic, this week the guys cover the elements of the Seattle and New England performances that not only played a part in deciding how the game was won and lost - but also suggested both teams are well set up for bright futures. All this, plus the quiz question you know and love. Thanks for listening - and a great season. See you all on the bounce!
EP 221 - The Patriots 'Maye' Need a Little Luck
2026/02/03
So, we know that sports media is currently a wash with all things NFL at the moment, but if you are a regular listener the guys thought it might be nice for them to share their 'two-cents' on what might just happen in sports biggest game! In this meandering pod, the guys chart the rise to the top for both the Seahawks and Patriots – but then most importantly discuss just who might be lifting a Lombardi by circa 4am UK time Monday morning. Whereas some of the discussion predicts a one-sided win for Seattle, the guys also take time to breakdown the impact of Drake Maye in year two and Coach Vrabel in year one at the Patriots….and consider whether a win for the Pats here could be the first on a number in the years ahead... All this plus a hastily prepared (yet perfectly reasonable) quiz question, in ‘No Google, All Noodle’. Enjoy the game everyone.
