Strong Body. Strong Mind Featuring Robert Fragoso , Licensed Therapist
2026/09/23
Episode 30: Strong Body. Strong Mind. In this episode, I sit down with Robert Fragoso, licensed therapist to have a real conversation about mental health and how deeply it connects to our physical health. We talk about self esteem, anxiety, worrying about what other people think, social media, body image, and the pressure we put on ourselves to constantly look better. I also open up about my own experiences as a competitive bodybuilder and the struggles I faced with body dysmorphia and never feeling like I was big enough, muscular enough, or good enough, even when I was in the best shape of my life. Why do we constantly compare ourselves to others? Why is it so difficult to feel satisfied with ourselves? And how do we learn to separate our self worth from the way we look? We also talk about motivation, goal setting, discipline, emotional resilience, overcoming adversity, work life balance, and the importance of being healthy role models for our children. Taking care of your body is important, but we cannot forget to take care of our mind. True health is about becoming stronger from the inside out. If you're ready for a true change for yourself , and you want to take that first step you can get started today with your physical health which directly impacts your mental health . Branched chain amino acids (are they for you?)
2025/01/05
Do you take them? Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs)—leucine, isoleucine, and valine—are essential nutrients that play a critical role in fitness and muscle recovery. Unlike other amino acids, BCAAs are metabolized directly in the muscles, making them a quick energy source during workouts. They help reduce muscle soreness, support muscle growth, and prevent muscle breakdown, especially during intense training or calorie deficits. Incorporating BCAAs into your routine can enhance endurance, promote faster recovery, and optimize your performance, making them a valuable tool for anyone pursuing fitness goals.

It was a pleasure to have Eddie as my guest , he's a skilled Muay Thai kickboxer, and I've already learned a lot from him in such a short amount of time. I'm sure you can as well. Hes a knowledgeable guy. He's passionate about what he does. He's had 15 fights and he's trained for 16 years. He's a head instructor at submission factory and he's ran two other gyms during his time. He also taught at Muay Thai America Gymnasium , as he was the first fighter to fight out of that gym . We talk about nutrition , fitness, and overcoming adversity. Eddie reveals what he goes through mentally to get ready for a fight , and we can all use these tactics before going through something challenging in life. Dehydration and cutting weight for bodybuilding vs. fighting. What's the difference ? Is there a healthy way to cutting weight for sports? We also discuss The book of 5 Rings and The Art of War, are on his list of books that he recommends reading for yourself ! Don't forget to add these into your library.

Fitt with Jeremy Scott Podcast episode #22 Featuring Brandon Almudarris
2023/11/07
I've know Brandon for a few years now and he's someone who has inspired me a lot. Ive seen him evolve and grow. He's an entrepreneur, and he's experienced a lot in his time already, although he is still young and full of life. Sit back and enjoy this episode as we discuss fitness, motivation, accountability, self discipline and how to get the best results out of whatever process you go through in life to get where you need to be. Its just that. Its a process. Sometimes we want the result , without the process. This is so common, but we have to understand that there won't be results unless we have patience and consistency, over a long period of time. That patience and consistency comes with takin hour failures as lessons , and looking at the failure as another opportunity to gain knowledge and use that knowledge in the future, to become successful.

King for a Day. What is keeping you from a King or Queens mentality? What could it feel like to be thought of like a God, to yourself. Where anything feels like within your power. A mental giant impervious to mole hill anguishes. Do you really want to go your whole life and get to that final death bed knowing you left so many pursuits, unpursuted. Is it worth it playing small to yourself? If our days are numbered and our breaths are counted and if none of this human success of the world really amounts to anything, then shouldn't failure be even more so counted as less significant. Counterphobic means "Only pursuing things that you are afraid of." May you be blessed with that phobia.

2023/03/10
Master Ston Lee grew up in Cambodia, and came to the Unites States. Since coming here he has been creating the life that he wants for himself. One of the things that he focuses on in his teaching is self discipline. He discusses how he applies this in his teachings and helps everyone who has joined his classes. Without self discipline you have nothing. Self discipline has to be a major part of your life if you want to succeed in anything.
Episode # 18 "The key to Happiness " Featuring Gabby Morales and Garret Turner

Gabby Morales speaks about happiness and what she has discovered on her journey of losing 50 pounds. I also have my guest Garret Turner on this episode and we discuss what are the right steps to being happy with whats right in front of you. Garret who is a fitness coach is someone who truly leads by example and helps others every day to get into the right mindset and practice the right habits to be happy with life every day.      Whats the key to true happiness? We all have goals. We have fitness goals, life goals and many other goals. Should we wait to celebrate until we reach our goals or should we celebrate during the whole process? What happens when we reach these goals? Its exciting and its a great moment in life, but what happens when these feelings of joy and excitement start to fade away over time. How do we continue to stay motivated and work self discipline? We have to learn to be happy with what we have right now in the current moment. Its time to be happy NOW, regardless of where we're at in the process. Working out and staying healthy definitely has to be the foundation of everything when it comes to being happy and enjoying life.
