It doesn’t really compare to anything else. But what about the other side of the story? How does this affect Hungarians when they try to learn foreign languages? I actually used to teach English one-on-one, so I’ll share some of the most common things my Hungarian students struggled with back then. I’ll also talk about what gave me a hard time when I started learning Polish and Spanish myself. You’re not supposed to hold full conversations or understand everything yet. Instead, focus on finding ways to feel more and more successful at your current level. It's absolutely possible to feel successful when talking to Hungarians, even at a lower level. Random videos with phrases won't take you anywhere. Analyzing full sentences, transcriptions, real conversations in Hungarian will!
