I love me some Conjuring! The fictionalized stories of Ed and Lorraine Warren's encounters with the supernatural are continued The Conjuring 3:  The Devil Made Me Do It! The movie was directed by La Llorona's Michael Chaves, from a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan. This is a sequel to The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016), and it's the eighth film in the Conjuring Universe. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren. The story is based on the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson in 1981, where demonic possession was cited as the cause of the murders. Want more? Finally, I got to watch the sequel to John Krasinski's brilliant A Quiet Place! A Quiet Place Part II is a 2021 horror flick which continues the story of a family in a post-apocalyptic world invaded by blind aliens with a killer sense of hearing. I caught Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead on Netflix. The first trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage dropped recently and I've got some thoughts and predictions. The flick is the upcoming sequel to the anti-hero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Venom, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel. The film is directed by Andy Serkis and it was partially written by Tom Hardy who stars as Eddie Brock / Venom. Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, and Stephen Graham also star.
