On todays episode we’re joined by Australian singer/songwriter, Sinead Burgess Sinead grew up in the northern suburbs of brisbane, and pled around country music clubs and festivals before recording and releasing her 5 track Ep “You Get Me’. Sinead has gone on to release a bunch of singles as well as her 2018 Album, Damaged Goods. Sinead made the move to and was based in Nashville for a number of years, and recently returned to Australia. Today we’re  joined by Caitlyn Shadbolt. Caitlyn is an Australian singer/songwriter from Gympie Qld who rose to fame after appearing on Australia’s ‘X Factor’ and placing 5th overall. Caitlyn went on to secure a record deal with ABC Music and released her debut album ‘Songs on my sleeve’ in May 2017. Caitlyn was recognised for her achievements by winning the CMC Award for Best New Artist, along with a nomination for Female Artist of the Year. On this episode we chat about her catapult into the music industry, being dubbed the ‘bogan Taylor swift’, and some of the challenges with being a female in the music industry.

Joining us on today’s episode is Melbourne based musician, Jason Vorherr. Jason is a singer/songwriter and session musician and works regularly as the bass player in the Daryl Braithwaite touring band. Join us as we discuss Jason’s entry to music, his approach to writing/recording and playing and how the covid pandemic affected his work while at the same time maintaining a positive outlook on what to be grateful for in life. On Todays show, we’re going international! We have joining us, all the way from Nashville Tennessee, Guitarist, Studio Musician, Songwriter and producer Alex Tomlins. Alex holds a Bachelor of Music Majoring in performance from QUT in Brisbane Australia, where we met in 2009. As a guitarist for hire, Alex works in both studio and live performance and has played for a range of Artists across a range of genres and settings including Jackson Capps, Codie Prevost and Australias own Dozzi to name a few. Alex has also worked on originals projects, working as Co-writer, lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Australian Country bands 'We The Ghosts’ and “Brigginshaw” before he relocated to Nashville Tennessee in 2018.
