3 Key Leadership Roles Expanding into Our Lives
2021/06/17
I'm really grateful I was asked to collaborate on a book for women in leadership. And after I turned in my chapter I began to think about the 3 key leadership roles that I've experienced in my life, both as a leader and someone who has had the benefit of working with some really amazing leaders and managers.  I realized that these roles can really be expanded to include collages, family and friends. And that's when I decided to write about this topic.  Today I'm sharing with you, how 3 key leadership roles can be expanded into our daily lives, making a difference in our ability to live in and support those desiring to live a life of Nourishment. It is easy to do, and will certainly inspire creativity! What are your Wellness goals?   Thanks for listening! I'd love to continue this conversation over on facebook. Foundations of Wellness: Supporting Optimal Health
2021/05/20
How are you defining wellness and optimal health? What are your practices and how are you going to incorporate those to support your foundation so you can live an optimal, healthy, vibrant and empowered life? For most of us this is not a one time activity. I use the word practices intentionally because in many cases it means supporting or enhancing what we're already doing. And it may mean learning new practices that support our foundation that allow us to live our optimal lives.  For those that have a chronic illness, such as myself, are you wondering if we can still benefit from supporting foundations and wellness? My answer is YES!  Allowing use to merge this traditional wisdom of medicine and then paring it with the current evidence based approaches that scientists are confirming - allows us to enhance our own lives.  I come to this perspective from a nutrition, nourishment point of view. And today on the show, we will look at other practices that could benefit us as well.  Thanks for listening! I'd love to continue this conversation over on Facebook.
