She talks with Jenny about her life experiences so far, being the first woman to ever serve two terms as Student Body President at CSU-Pueblo and her plans for law school in the near future! (Fingers crossed for Denver University!)

She is a counselor at Pueblo County High School, where she met her when she was a teacher there. She talks about her beautiful children and her passions in life, including kids and coaching volleyball/basketball. So thrilled to have finally gotten her into the studio to do the podcast!

She is now into real estate investing and has a daughter who is now 7 who is the pillar of her life and her "Why."

She discusses the importance of her family, what she has accomplished in her 33 years of living in Pueblo, and how important volunteering is to a community.

She has done so much for the Pueblo community and her passion and advocacy for children is contagious!  She is currently running for County Commissioner in Pueblos 3rd District! It was such a great experience talking to her about her life and her personal and professional endeavors. 

It shouldn't take long for you to recognize how excited I was to have Jerri Garcia on the podcast! I had the honor to teach middle schoolers alongside her for a few years and her passion for life and kids is contagious. I even brought in a couple of sweet teas from McDonald's for old time's sake. Love this woman and the helpful advice she has given me along life's journey. 

On episode 44 of Influential Women, Jenny sits down with Lindsay Reeves to discuss her life, her career in nonprofits and how that has allowed her to sit on various different boards where she makes a direct impact on the Pueblo community.  It's so important to have good people who care about their community and Lindsay cares deeply about Pueblo.
