[PATREON] The Robbie Keane Ultras Episode Four
2024/02/20
Been a while since I've had Jack G tell me that Spurs are s***e in long form, so time to get another dose. We talk about whether or not Spurs have been found out. Will a back in form Maddison make us less found out? Does Ange need to adapt to the demands of the Premier League or is he right to carry on the way that he is? Can Spurs win the Premier League any time soon...maybe? Yes... No...? We also talk a bit about Harry Kane and the issues he's having with Bayern right now. RTR EXTRA: Tottenham 1-2 Wolves
2024/02/17
Wolves have completed the double over Spurs in a miserable afternoon for Ange Postecoglou's men. It felt like we were lacking all spark without Porro and Udogie. Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/ruletheroost. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

RTR EXTRA: Spurs 2-1 Brighton
2024/02/10
Ange Postecoglou's man fought until the end to take all three points against a plucky Brighton side. It wasn't the prettiest of performances, but Tottenham came away with a much needed win courtesy of a goal from a wonderful assist by returning captain Son Heung-Min, converted by Brennan Johnson. RTR EXTRA: Everton 2-2 Tottenham
2024/02/05
We drew with Everton! Ange out! Vicario out! etc etc A frustrating game, but we're still in a good place, and Jack tries his best to convey this through his cold. Should goalies be tougher or is it just cheating? Is Hojbjerg to blame for everything (yes)? Has Postecoglou been found out? Only time will tell. Can You Imagine Being Neil Maupay
2024/02/01
Jack welcomes friend of the show Conor Mummery back to discuss victory over Brentford. What did Neil Maupay think he was doing? He angered Tottenham so it paid off in our favour, but despite the win, Spurs weren't great - is this a cause for concern? We discuss Richarlison's form and whether or not he's 'the' guy, people digging out Ange's youth pathway and wee look ahead to Everton and the rest of the season. All this and plenty more. Snap Out Of It
2024/01/30
On this episode of Rule the Roost, Jack welcomes football writer Sean Walsh to the pod and they get straight to the point. With Spurs having recently missed out on signing Norwegian talent Antonio Nusa, but is it worth the uproar? The FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester City is also on the table. Should Spurs fans really be losing their minds over it? Jack and Sean cut through the noise, offering a reality check and focusing on the positive strides the team is making. They dive into whether it's time to give Daniel Levy a break, acknowledging his role in shaping Spurs' current path. Looking forward, the hosts preview the upcoming clash with Brentford and toss around the idea of Ivan Toney donning the Lilywhite shirt. RTR EXTRA: FA Cup Tottenham 0-1 Man City
2024/01/27
Jack reacts to Tottenham's exit from the FA Cup at the hands of Manchester City in what was a pretty weird game. Felt like Spurs never really got going, which is unlike your typical Ange Postecoglou team performance. Manchester City are of course the treble winners and are managed by Pep Guardiola, but is it wrong to have hoped that we might have given a little bit more to this one? Several players just weren't at it, and despite holding them off for long periods, we didn't create enough of our own opportunities. Timo Werner was crying out for service, but Dejan Kulusevski just couldn't get the ball to him. The biggest talking point has to be City's winner, which was a clear foul on the goalkeeper Vicario. How was that given? Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/ruletheroost. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

There's So Much Good About Tottenham
2024/01/16
Jack is back with Spooky for a typically philosophical discussion, digging deep into the current state of Spurs. In this episode, Jack and Spooky tackle the burning questions: Where do Spurs stand now? What should our realistic goals be? Is Daniel Levy finally living up to the promises of the past? Is it too bold to mention winning the league this season? They also dive into fan reactions regarding Brennan Johnson's inconsistent form, emphasising the importance of giving the young player some space to develop without unnecessary scrutiny. RTR EXTRA: Man Utd 2-2 Tottenham
2024/01/14
Jack reacts to Tottenham's 2-2 draw away at Old Trafford. Once upon a time Manchester United were the most feared club on planet earth, now little old Spurs can be leaving feeling somewhat annoyed not to have won. An encouraging debut from Timo Werner, and a standout performance from Richarlison were two of the major positives for Ange Postecoglou's men. Rodrigo Bentancur ran the show, as Manchester United struggled to come up with anything to both Spurs in the second half. Annoying to have let Hojlund and Rashford score as well, but still, all in all, a great performance. Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/ruletheroost. Hosted on Acast.
