Description

At the heart of every sermon we preach is this simple truth – “grace restores all things”. Our world is broken. We all feel it. Things are not as they should be. And yet, there is a veiled beauty at work in our world – softening our hearts, teaching us to love each other, even our enemies, restoring our lives, giving us rest, filling our hearts with wonder and forgiving our wrongs – that beauty is grace! In all our teachings, in every sermon, in all our worship, and in all of our community we too participate in this veiled beauty as we learn to love and follow Jesus.

The Names of God - Elohim | Psalm 67
2026/04/19
God as creator means that he bring our lives from chaos to order, from brokenness to wholeness and from wilderness to promise land. God is for you. God’s desire is to bring you into flourishing and to give you all that your hearts could desire. God is for your pleasure.
The Names of God - Adonai | Psalm 8
2026/04/12
This is about worship God as Lord and Master, about surrendering all that we are to Him. This is about letting go of our false idols and things that we cling to that are not good for our souls.
Easter!

Jesus conquers our greatest enemy: death. Nothing else is impossible.
The Gospel for Burned-Out People
2025/07/04
We’re all carrying something—shame, pressure, expectation, the need to prove ourselves—and it’s exhausting. Jesus doesn’t offer escape; He offers rest. Real rest. Not just a break from life, but freedom from the inner voice that says you’re not enough. This week, we’ll explore His invitation to trade the burdens we’ve learned to live with for the lightness of love, grace, and soul-deep peace.
The Men We’re Losing: Built to Feel, Not Just to Fight
2025/06/23
You’ve probably had an important man in your life you wished you knew more deeply—maybe even your own father. This week, your feed is likely filled with calls for stronger men, braver men, less apathetic men. But here’s what’s missing: a call for whole men. Vulnerable men. Connected men. The truth? Men are struggling—but not because they’re weak, lack courage, or are too apathetic. From a young age, boys are taught to sever the parts of themselves that feel: tenderness, emotion, connection. The result is an epidemic of shame, isolation, and disconnection. This Father’s Day at Restore, we’ll talk about the real weight men carry—and the healing Jesus offers. Not through toughness. Not through silence. But through being known. Trusted. And fully seen.
Born Again: The End of Self-Defense
2025/06/23
Nicodemus came to Jesus at night, hiding behind status and intellect. But Jesus didn't entertain his self-protection. Instead, He offered a new birth—one that disarms pride, dismantles fear, and invites us into the Spirit’s wild, freeing work. Being born again isn’t about having the right answers. It’s about having the courage to be vulnerable, to start over, and to step into the light. This sermon explores how Jesus lovingly tears down our defenses and invites us into the vulnerable, powerful life of the Kingdom.
Two Lies That Distort Love
2025/06/23
First, when we hear “I love you” from someone who doesn’t truly mean it, we learn to confuse manipulation or self-interest with real love. Second, when we are genuinely loved, but evil convinces us we’re not. These lies do deep damage to our souls — distorting our trust in God’s love for us. The cross protects us from both kinds of corruption. This Sunday, we’ll confront how these lies have shaped the way we see the cross — and explore the truth that in the cross, God tore away the false self we’ve used to survive and revealed a deeper truth: you are deeply loved.
Meant to Break You
2025/06/23
The giant was real, but so was love that wouldn't quit. This week, we explore where to go when life breaks your spirit.
God's Love Has No Final Straw
2025/06/23
Jesus tells a story of two brothers who disgrace and humiliate their father. But not even their worst behavior stops him from loving them. They cross every line—but with God, there is no final straw. His love holds.
What You Gave Us Was the Gospel, and It Was Enough: The Mothers Who Carry God's Redemption Forward
2025/06/23
Motherhood can be a relentless job. The pressure to do everything perfectly, to meet every need, to protect — it can feel overwhelming. Sometimes it’s like having only a cup to give when what’s needed is a bathtub. You can pour out everything you have and still feel like it’s not enough. The guilt can be crippling. But it’s in the chaos and messiness of motherhood that God redeems the world. The wisdom, strength, and courage of the mothers in Jesus’ family remind us that our fight to overcome evil is deeply rooted in the work of motherhood.
Weaponized Texts: Sodom and the Real Sin We Ignored
2025/06/23
What about when what is ‘right in your own eyes" is dead wrong?
Stories We Got Wrong: Was Eve Created For Adam?
2025/06/23
Eve was created from Adam — but does that mean she was created for him? Why did the serpent approach her instead of Adam? We've lost sight of who Eve truly was, and it’s cost us more than we realize. We've buried Eve under lies of inferiority — and it’s poisoned how we see women, leadership, and even the image of God. It’s time to reclaim the strength, wisdom, and fierce hope God planted in her from the very beginning.
Is True Happiness Even Possible
2025/06/23
If Jesus promised that it is, then why does joy feel so elusive?
How to Know God’s Will
2025/03/27
What if knowing God's will for your life was less about understanding what He wants you to do and more about knowing who you are to Him?
Why Am I Here?
2025/03/27
Understanding God's will for your life is not always simple or clear. Or is it?
