Sometimes you need to be told that the ghost of your great grandmother follows, protects, and believes in you to get your ass in gear and share a new podcast episode. Sending love to everyone out there that’s continually pushing themselves while also trying to heal.

This is a short glimpse into my new podcast Calibration Errors. The name is inspired by the many errors I’ve received using Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems to manage my blood sugar levels. It’a a great metaphor and anchor to dissect technology from a social and human lens as well as tell my story as a diabetic who is intimately connected to medical technology. This trailer sets up the conversation for my first episode about Nick Jonas’ Dexcom commercial. His stigmatized messaging in the super bowl commercial doesn’t reflect most of our lived experiences as diabetics nor does it represent our realities. Tune in next week for a full episode!
