Episode #449: How to Heal When You're Tired of Trying with Dr. Matt Delgado
2026/09/29
Dr. Matt Delgado is Chiropractor, author, and educator who was given the lifelong diagnosis of Graves' Disease at the young age of 27. He was given a treatment protocol of three options.
His choices included the options of surgery, radioactive iodine, or taking medication for the rest of his life. Matt refused all options and chose a fourth one for himself, which included putting himself in the right conditions, allowing his body to do what it already knew how to do: heal.
Matt's "disease" went into remission and has never come back. His book is titled "Stepping Out of the Grave: How to Heal When You're Tired of Trying" and will be published in January 2026.
It took Matt ten years to understand why and how he was able to heal from Graves' disease, until he tested the same approach against thousands of patients and the conditions where modern medicine hands a prescription and walks away from: chronic pain, hormone problems, gut issues, anxiety. What he found is simple, and a little inconvenient for an industry enriched by complexity. Which is that the nervous system holds the keys to nearly everything, and most of what we've been told is permanent, isn't.
Matt explains that a wilting plant doesn't need a new pot. It needs sun and water. The body has its own version: sleep, stress, movement, and toxins. While everyone bends down to pick up pennies, supplements stacked on supplements, the dollars sit on the table in plain sight. It's simple. It's not easy. And it's time people took their power back.
In this episode, Matt shares valuable insights and information to help listeners understand that we all have the capacity to heal ourselves, how to listen to our body and to the messages it's sending us, and how to create a healthy environment for our body, mind, spirit, and nervous system complete the task that nature intended. The capacity to heal itself.

Episode #441: How to Be the Hero of Your Own Story with Calvin Bagley
2026/07/28
Calvin Bagley is a Healthcare Entrepreneur, Medicare Broker, Thought Leader Advocate, Speaker, and Amazon Best Selling Author who went from having no education as a child to earning a business degree at the age of 34.
Today Calvin is the founder of several different businesses which have positively impacted the lives of tens of thousands of people. His book is a published memoir titled "Hiding from the School Bus," which tells the story of growing up in poverty, isolation, religious extremism, and navigating an education system which wasn't built for kids like him.
Calvin's powerful story is one of resilience, faith, and how to turn pain into purpose. He did not set foot in a classroom until he was 22 years old. He wasn't homeschooled, he was "no-schooled." Being kept close to home with no exposure to traditional education, his older sister taught him how to read.
Incredibly, through hard work and profound stubbornness, he not only learned to read, but he learned how to speak Portuguese and Spanish when he went on his church mission at the age of 19. Calvin explains how learning Portuguese actually helped him read and write English and encouraged him to continue to pursue further education, eventually being accepted to a college and earning his business degree, which launched him on his remarkable and rewarding career.
Calvin shares his story with grace and compassion as he talks about overcoming childhood adversity, resilience and faith after spiritual abuse, breaking cycles, how to build a life worth living when you started with nothing, how to love yourself with all your heart, and how to be the hero of your own story.
