The Burgeoning of a Seed: Storytime
2026/09/23
Dedicated with reverence to the Indigenous peoples and lineages who have carried sacred relationships with plant and psychedelic Medicines across generations. To those who have protected these Medicines, ceremonies, teachings, and ways of knowing through colonization, criminalization, persecution, and profound loss. May we remember that these are living traditions, held by living peoples, and approach them with humility, gratitude, respect, and responsibility.
Dedicated to Artemis on this Equinox.
In this episode, I read a short story I wrote, The Burgeoning of a Seed.
It tells the story of an anti-poaching pilot whose work protecting wildlife is being impacted by PTSD, leading him to a psychedelic medicine retreat where he seeks healing in order to return to the work of protecting the animals of the jungle.

Milagros: An Ecstatic Dance Ceremony
2026/08/29
Spotify wouldn’t allow me to upload the full Ceremony I mixed, so this episode is a short teaser. The full Ecstatic Dance ceremony is available on SoundCloud
---------
There is something deeply regulating about moving.
Rhythm restores choice. Movement restores agency. The body remembers that activation can feel alive instead of overwhelming.
In this ceremony, we explore ecstatic dance as a way of breaking out of stasis. A chance to loosen the rigidity that keeps us small and reconnect with the freedom and aliveness of the body.
-------
This ceremony is dedicated to Milagros, my wild wise woman, midwife to the Goddess, and my favourite dance partner. Thank you for dancing with me through so many thresholds, and for calling me forward into more of myself.
To our holy dancing Bodies.
------
Preparing the space:
For the best experience, create a simple ceremonial container:
• Find a private space where you can move freely. Make it beautiful
• Use headphones or a good speaker for full sound quality
• Dim the lights or light a candle if it feels supportive
• Allow yourself to move without choreography or self-judgment
Allow the music to guide you.
Let the Body remember. You are Nature. And Nature knows how to rise

Moon & Muse: A Guided Encounter
2026/07/29
Born from a women’s ceremonial magic circle and created for the first Moon and Muse gathering in Bali, this journey invites you into an encounter with your inner Muse. The creative, intuitive, imaginal intelligence that lives within you and knows what is longing to be expressed through your life.
Drawing from the depth psychology tradition of active imagination, this meditation offers a symbolic landscape where you can meet the unconscious, listen to the wisdom of your psyche, and reconnect with the deeper currents moving beneath the surface of everyday consciousness.
No two journeys will ever be the same. Trust what emerges. Your imagination is not something to overcome. It is one of the primary languages through which the psyche speaks.
If this is your first guided active imagination meditation, I recommend beginning with these companion episodes:
• Inner Child: A journey into nervous system safety, embodiment, and why we can trust what we discover within ourselves.
• Journey to the Internal Waters: An introduction to active imagination, archetypal psychology, and engaging the symbolic world of the psyche.
As with all ceremonies, you may wish to create a quiet, intentional space before you begin. If it feels meaningful, orient yourself facing East, the direction of beginnings, illumination, and the rising sun.
Slow down.
Listen.
And allow yourself to discover what wants to be made through you.

Inanna’s Map: Consecrating the Descent (Carly Mountain)
2026/07/20
Part II
In a culture obsessed with growth, productivity, and transcendence, what if our seasons of loss, uncertainty, and unraveling aren't signs that something has gone wrong, but sacred initiations?
In this episode of Deconstruction, I sit down with writer, psychotherapist, somatic sex therapist, and sacred space holder Carly Mountain to explore the ancient Sumerian myth of Inanna's descent into the underworld, one of the oldest myths we have and one that offers a profound map for navigating the dark seasons of our lives.
Together we explore what it means to consecrate our descent rather than pathologize it, the importance of calling in a witness, the sacredness of grief, compassion, the fierce power of the holy no, and why returning from the underworld may be the most vulnerable part of the journey.
Whether you're moving through heartbreak, identity shifts, grief, burnout, or the quiet dismantling of an old way of being, may this conversation remind you that descent is not the opposite of growth. Sometimes it is the path that makes wholeness possible.

The Descent of Inanna: The Myth
2026/07/14
Part I
Recorded in preparation for my conversation with Carly Mountain, author of Descent and Rising. Which I am very excited to share as the episode was Alive and Inspired! But before joining us as we explore why Inanna’s descent has remained one of humanity’s most profound maps for initiation, embodiment, and transformation, I invite you to encounter the Myth for yourself.
In this solo episode of Deconstruction, I read the ancient Sumerian myth of Inanna’s Descent into the Underworld. Rather than listening with your mind, you’re invited to receive the myth through your Body. Every character, gate, and encounter becomes a mirror for something within us, revealing why this story has endured for thousands of years.
For this New Moon.
Dedicated to Inanna.
To every Woman who has walked into the darkness before us.
To the Elders, Crones, Priestesses, and Wisdom Keepers whose devotion carried these stories across generations so they could find us now.
May we honour the shoulders we stand upon by living them.

Returning to Eros: Pleasure as Birthright (Milagros Maldonado)
2026/06/20
Pleasure is not self-indulgence, but an essential part of being fully alive.
The Solstice feels like an especially fitting moment to share this conversation.
In this conversation, I sit down with Milagros, tantrica, ceremonlialist, and creator of Alice in Pleasureland, to explore Eros as the animating force that moves us toward beauty, vitality, connection, and becoming.
Pleasure as Prayer.
We explore pleasure as a birthright, desire as a compass, and the possibility that our deepest conditioning may not simply disconnect us from pain, but from Eros itself the very aliveness that makes life worth inhabiting.
For anyone who has ever felt disconnected from their body, afraid of wanting more, or quietly sensed there might be another way to be alive, this conversation is an invitation to wonder:
What becomes possible when we stop fearing our longing and begin listening to where it wants to lead us?

The wise woman who taught me resilience, gentleness, non binary thinking, and that integrity and love are the cornerstones of character.

Persephone Rising: An Ecstatic Dance Ceremony
2026/04/01
For the first Full Moon of Spring, and recorded on the Spring Equinox, this episode of Deconstruction offers a guided ecstatic dance ceremony.
This episode is a ceremony.
A journey woven around the ancient myth of Persephone, the maiden who descended into hell and rose as its Queen — transformed enough that all of life responded to her blooming.
We open the circle with the story of Persephone, Demeter, and Baubo. Then the music begins. Thirty minutes of uninterrupted movement. We close in Shavasana with a meditation to land.
Fairytales and Ecstatic dance are some of the oldest medicines we have. When the Body moves freely, without choreography or performance, something reorganizes. Emotion metabolises. What has been frozen begins to thaw.
This ceremony is for everyone whose winter asked everything of them
Preparing the space:
For the best experience, create a simple ceremonial container:
• Find a private space where you can move freely. Make it beautiful
• Use headphones or a good speaker for full sound quality
• Dim the lights or light a candle if it feels supportive
• Allow yourself to move without choreography or self-judgment

The Art of Descent: Astrology, Alchemy & Becoming (Vika Bradford)
2026/02/20
In this episode, I sit down with my friend Vika Bradford to explore descent — into grief, rage, dissociation, identity loss, and the underworld passages that shape us.
Vika shares from her lens as a karmic astrologer, weaving Pluto, the 8th and 9th houses, and mythic death-and-rebirth symbolism into a conversation about growth and transformation. I hold the dialogue through a psychological and nervous system framework, asking what it truly means to stay with what hurts rather than bypass it.
Together we explore:
Dissociation as protection
Rage as a sacred and valid response to loss
Repeating patterns and radical self-responsibility
The metaphor of “mining for gold” in the underworld
The movement from discipline to devotion
Why self-inquiry is a lifelong unfolding
This episode is being released during the potent week of the Saturn–Neptune conjunction — a moment astrologically associated with the meeting of structure and dissolution, reality and dream, discipline and surrender. Whether you relate to astrology symbolically or literally, the themes of this transit mirror what we explore here: how we dissolve old identities and build something more honest in their place.
Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t. Stay curious.

WOMEN: A guided Invocation (Advanced)
2026/01/09
This is not a meditation for regulation.
While the opening invites settling and embodied awareness, regulation is not the destination. It is the threshold.
This is an invocation
A calling forward. An invitation to remember the power that has always lived in your Body. Not as performance or force, but as capacity, choice, and inner authority returning.
This offering was made from the embodied experience of being a Woman, for Women. And for anyone who feels the imprint of colonial, patriarchal, capitalist conditioning woven into the nervous system. The training toward diminishment, silence, and self doubt. The forgetting of one’s own authority.
This is a gentle but uncompromising nudge toward reclamation.
Not through force.
Not through bypass.
But through remembrance.
This practice was created during a Mars Cazimi, a moment of purification and clarity of will. The timing informed the work, but the power is yours.
Please note this is an advanced practice. It may evoke intensity or a sense of being stirred awake and is best received when you feel resourced and grounded.
You are not broken.
You are not late.
You are not asking for too much.
Welcome home to yourself.
It is time.

Wintering: A meditation for all Men
2025/12/22
This Solstice marks the darkest night of the year and the true beginning of winter, a season of retreat, lowered energy, and inward listening.
Over the past year, what was once a largely women-oriented clinical practice has shifted into walking nearly equally alongside men. It has been a profound privilege.
Again and again, I’ve been hearing the same themes: deep fatigue, loneliness, a desire to retreat inward, and emotions that have waited a long time to be felt.
This meditation was created as an accompaniment to that experience.
While it uses he/him language, it is accessible to anyone who feels resonance. It offers a gentle place to land in the body, to meet heaviness without trying to fix or change it, and to honour wintering as an intelligent and necessary movement.
Listening notes:
Choose a quiet, cozy space where you won’t be interrupted. Wear Headphones.
This meditation was recorded in the Jungle, so you will hear the sounds of the Wild. Notice what that activates, allow it to be, and keep breathing.

Inside Psychedelic Somatic Therapy: Healing Trauma at the Root (Saj Razvi)
2025/11/19
For this New Moon I am re-releasing one of my favourite episodes — an important conversation with Saj Razvi on psychedelic somatic healing and the power of relational repair.
In this episode, Saj and I explore Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), a somatic trauma modality that works in psychedelic states to address relational wounding and autonomic self-correction. We discuss how PSIP gently returns people to early developmental layers where attachment ruptures first formed, allowing core self and lost parts to re-emerge.
We speak about why secure attachment is one of the greatest stabilizing resources, the pathways and responsibilities within transpersonal psychedelic therapy, and the ethical importance of preparation, relational support, and tending negative transference.
Saj Razvi is the Founder and Director of Education at the Psychedelic Somatic Institute and a pioneer of PSIP. He served as a clinical researcher in the MAPS Phase 2 MDMA trial, has taught PTSD studies at the University of Denver and the University of Copenhagen, and now trains clinicians internationally in using legal medicines like cannabis and ketamine for relational and autonomic trauma healing
