The belated boys are back after a year to play some old hip-hop and R&B singles found at an antique mall and recycle center. And most of them are good! Say hi to your old buddies on the Bluesky account. @WBLT.bsky.social

More reruns! This old episode from 2018 is wild. It's more of a twelve minute sound collage that has movie/tv clips and unreleased music from Eric Lappe, The Fabulous Mustache Bros and The friggin' Taxpayers. Perfect for that drive across town to the mall.

Two busy boys don't have to record. So you're getting this one from September 2019. Funny thing is that we could not find the original artwork or episode title. Johnny talks about the hardcore supergroup, Hesitations Wounds' and their 2019 album Chicanery . And Rick goes on about longtime twee rockers, Tullycraft. Check it out. Maybe we'll be back SOOOOON.

The bad boys are back! They've been very bad and decided they needed to make their longest episode since.. Oh, my.. 23! They discuss soundtracks. Movies, video games, you watch it they probably mention it! Factbot was put to work in this episode, and Johnny still can't beat her and her knowledge speed bullets.. NOTE: This song was taken down because of a Queen song. It has been reposted with only a fraction of a second of that Queen song.

A rerun after our boys talked about keeping up with the episodes? Let's Get Halloweeny is an episode we recorded in 2019 along with our friend Eric Lappe, co-host of the Let's Get Podcast. In this episode we discuss horror related video games that gave us the chills. Be one of our few followers of Bluesky. https://bsky.app/profile/wblt.bsky.social WNC Helene Mutual Aid Thread

The odd boys are back after a nine month hiatus! Rick finds a cassette mysteriously titled "Mix Via Brian" and rediscovers the robotic angst of Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra and a possible Snowsuit* demo. After Johnny hears Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra he revisits chaotic synth jazz weirdos - Yip-Yip. And how about that Pee Wee Herman song? satanicpuppeteer.bandcamp.com/ yip-yip.bandcamp.com

The Bonus Boys are back for the first time in a while. Instead of recording a new episode, our boys play some full-ass songs of things they have been listening to! Pretty cool, right? See you next month. Are you listening? Tell us you're out there!

ITS A RERUN! It's been a while since I've heard this one.  The boys tell their Jonah Ray stories and encounters, Rick discusses Public Enemy and Johnny talks about You Blew It! A emo band from Orlando, Florida.. Where all the best emo comes from, I guess..

Uh oh, looks like the boys forgot what episode we're on! We talk about teenage boys being the worst and doing stupid teenage boy stuff, emo bands with silly confusing names. More specifically Captain Jazz and the amazing punk record Anarchy by Chumbawumba... Yes, the tubthumpers.

Summer boys busy boys back to discuss embarrassing songs they like. Are they that embarrassing? Do they make you feel a sense of shame when you listen to them? Am I describing you currently listening to a song before you listen to this new episode of whatchu been listening to?? Special guest Daryl Gussin talks with us about his embarrassing favorites as well! We claim it's episode 67, it's not. it's 68!

THE BOYS ARE BACK! After a short hiatus we're back to it, talking about shows we'd go to for free, and music we were listening to. More specifically Touché Amoré and a very special cd Rick had been on the hunt for.

It's bigger than HIP hop HIP HOP BOYS! The boys back again to chat about their new favorite topic, WU TANG! SUUUUU! Rick dug into Gza's album Liquid Swords, while Johnny brings another EXO release by Kill Bill Full Metal Kaiju, a record that feels like a love letter to the Sega Saturn. Are there too many songs titled "zzz"? Will Johnny remember the song he references is actually called Sleep and not "zzz"? Well, we're gonna take you for a ride!

The Choir Boys talk about the same dang record-Pastor TL Barrett and the Youth For Christ Choir with Like a Ship...Without A Sail. It's an influential gospel record that came out in 1971 and your boys just heard it for the first time! You also get an update in the Wu-Tang: American Saga-Saga. Listen! Amen!

The football boys are back! They are not talking about the super bowl, but they are talking about their favorite songs of 2022.  tracklist: 1. Desbordes - Panico (Todo Es Una Mierda) 2. GoGoGo - Wheel Bite (Shorts) 3. Qwam - IDC (Little Bliss 7") 4. Hey, ILY! - Intrusive Thoughts Always (Psychokinetic Love Songs) 5. Couplet - Matter of the Shell (EP1) 6. Science Man - The Want (Nines Mecca) 7. Matt Watson - Wallpaper (Ouch! Expansion Pack) 8. David Arnold - Tunnel Escape 9. NastyFacts - Get to You (Drive My Car) 10. Death's Dynamic Shroud - Neon Memories (Dark Life) 11. Blak Madeem - Shades of Opression 12. Vince Staples - MAGIC (RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART)

The Muggy Boys talk about two records that were released in the early 00's. Johnny reminisces about his pre-emo-punk days and talks about how Rival Schools' United By Fate turned him in that emo-punk kid. Rick rambles about the ramblin' guitars, vocals and punk superstars on the Skull Kontrol album "Zzzzzz...". Listen carefully and you can hear Johnny's coffee mug pep him up as the episode progresses.
