Amy and Darren talk about how the Dream Center started with just an idea of two people that saw a critical need in Scottsville and Allen County and started a journey of unchartered territory. Lots of wonderful, heartwarming stories, in addition to what the Dream Center is doing now and what Amy and Darren want to achieve in the future. A lot of people have been involved with addiction in a personal sense or have had family members affected. The Dream Center has grown and evolved literally with an idea before lunch and after lunch with a new direction at the beginning. It's a place that is helping daily, hourly, for a demographic of people that have no where else to turn and need a place to find HOPE again.

It's a very interesting discussion on how Dr. Huntsman got involved in the project and how's he persisted through a lot of twists and turns to finally get the first phase completed. He talks about the City's new "Water Smart" program, accessed at cityofscottsville.org, where water customers can monitor their usage and receive alerts if there are issues and also on City of Scottsville Facebook page. Scott reveals that utility online payment is in the final stages of implementation and there should be an announcement soon about when customers may begin paying their utility bills online through the city website.

Tosha explains the history and objective of creating a native grasses wildlife habitat in her front yard located at the corner of Cherokee Drive and Old Gallatin Road in Scottsville.  She discusses the purposes and benefits of creating a wildlife habitat that focuses on the grasses native to her property. Her property is recognized as an official Monarch Waystation that provides resources for Monarch butterflies as they undertake their annual migration, which can cover distances of 2,500 to 3,000 miles each way. Tosha points out that she's working with Jerry Biddle and the Code Enforcement Board to create an environment that benefits everyone and still provides a wildlife habitat.
