Amy and Darren talk about how the Dream Center started with just an idea of two people that saw a critical need in Scottsville and Allen County and started a journey of unchartered territory. Lots of wonderful, heartwarming stories, in addition to what the Dream Center is doing now and what Amy and Darren want to achieve in the future. A lot of people have been involved with addiction in a personal sense or have had family members affected. The Dream Center has grown and evolved literally with an idea before lunch and after lunch with a new direction at the beginning. It's a place that is helping daily, hourly, for a demographic of people that have no where else to turn and need a place to find HOPE again.

Eric discusses the Medical Center's Mission of Care to Rural communities and their acquisitions over the last few years. He discusses the present state of the Medical Community, including insurance, Long Term Care and technology. He describes the new Epic Healthcare Electronic Medical Records system that they're investing in to the tune of $90 million dollars. Enjoy!

Dr. Huntsman discusses the Scottsville Train Depot Restoration Project and gives some great insight into the history of the rail line running through Scottsville. He talks about the "last" Allen Countian to ride the train before it shut down! It's a very interesting discussion on how Dr. Huntsman got involved in the project and how's he persisted through a lot of twists and turns to finally get the first phase completed. Chris has worked for the Citizen-Times as a reporter for the past two years and has been a resident of Scottsville for seven years. Scott covers a lot of different areas where GIS is playing a big part in a lot of  projects for the City of Scottsville, including gas meter survey and locations, water, gas and sewer infrastructure locations and updates. He talks about the City's new "Water Smart" program, accessed at cityofscottsville.org, where water customers can monitor their usage and receive alerts if there are issues and also on City of Scottsville Facebook page. Scott reveals that utility online payment is in the final stages of implementation and there should be an announcement soon about when customers may begin paying their utility bills online through the city website.

Chief Tabor covers a variety of important dates and topics coming up, including the Driver Education Course available to high school students who have a permit or a license.   He also discusses the upcoming "stuff the cruiser" fundraiser for our Family Resource Centers. Jada talks about her background and her interest in GIS and her journey to being a part of the City of Scottsville family. Jada discusses projects that have been completed and ongoing infrastructural  mapping projects, environmental impact studies,  in addition to future projects and partnerships. Kori and Micah discuss starting a new agricultural business, including Agri-Tourism and their backgrounds and education in Agriculture and how this affected their decision to seek out a future in the business of Agriculture. Tosha explains the history and objective of creating a native grasses wildlife habitat in her front yard located at the corner of Cherokee Drive and Old Gallatin Road in Scottsville.  She discusses the purposes and benefits of creating a wildlife habitat that focuses on the grasses native to her property. Her property is recognized as an official Monarch Waystation that provides resources for Monarch butterflies as they undertake their annual migration, which can cover distances of 2,500 to 3,000 miles each way. Tosha points out that she's working with Jerry Biddle and the Code Enforcement Board to create an environment that benefits everyone and still provides a wildlife habitat.

Congressman Comer covers a lot of issues, including inflation, 2024 Farm Bill, National Security and the Congressional committees that he's a member of, including his leadership role on the House Oversight Committee. In addition, Congressman Comer provides his insight and perspective to ongoing issues that affect the American people.

Scott discusses completed and ongoing projects using GIS, moving from an analog system to digital system that affects all areas of city infrastructure. He also discusses the ongoing lead line survey mandated by the EPA to be completed by October 2024. All great information, well, most of it!!

Jerry covers several area of enforcement, including signage in downtown district, trash and brush pick up, clean up weeks twice per year in city and other areas of interest to local residents.
