This week we’re talking to another multi-sport athlete, Nikki LaRochelle. She’s a skimo racer, mountain runner and biker, mom of two girls, illustrator, and coach. We had a blast talking about ranging topics of pet fish, environmental impacts of FKTs, finding our place in sport and changing goals over time, and running in jeans. 

This week we’re joined by La Sportiva runner and registered dietician Maria Dalzot. We dive right in, hearing about her unique approach to nutrition, accessibility to not only sport but also healthy food, creating healthy boundaries with social media, and of course her own running. 

Today we sit down with the versatile Rea Kolbl, gymnast turned OCR, skimo, mountain bike, and adventure racer, among other things. Rea is on the US skimo team and explains what the heck the sport is, why it fires her up, and how being patient in a sport pays off.

Clare is an accomplished ultra-runner, with wins that include UTMB's CCC 100k, Leadville 100 mile and Western States 100 mile. On this episode, we chat with Anne-Marie Madden who recently punched her ticket to Western States 100 at Black Canyon 100km, where she finished 3rd. Anne-Marie is a Canadian ultrarunner who is no stranger to the podium and has been racing ultras for over 8 years. She was just named the #5 Ultrarunner of the Year 2021 after an impressive season.
