This is not your average South Park episode. There were still the same kind of gut-retching jokes you're used to, but there was also something about this episode that pulled at my heartstrings. There was a certain character that I felt bad for this time around, and that is new. I'm not sure if I should be so proud of this anime. It's popular but for all the wrong reasons. It's a messy, violent, and intense anime with an awful story. But when it comes to fight scenes, this anime is king. The animation is great and the explanation is even more worth it when you get to see the ridiculous fight scenes. This show starts off strong but fizzles out at the end. From the very first episode, I was hooked on this show. It had a great balance of heartwarming family moments and hilarious comedic moments. As each new episode came out, I needed to know more which is what made up for the slow burn of this show's story. That being said, the ending was rushed and didn't make much sense. This episode does a great job of mixing the old and the new, and gives us a glimpse at what may come. With the Pandemic Special we saw our favorite characters in a different setting. In Post Covid South Park we see them in a different time. In both cases it seems that they may have been missing from this timeline for a while. The question is, what happened?
