Timberline Windsor | Devoted to the Word | Blake Barnes
2026/09/28
In a world filled with countless voices competing for our attention, what we choose to listen to shapes who we become. The early church devoted themselves to the teachings of Jesus, allowing God's Word to become the foundation of their lives. Scripture draws us closer to God, renews our minds, strengthens us against temptation, and gives us hope when life is difficult.
Being devoted to the Word is more than simply reading the Bible—it means allowing the words of Jesus to take root in our hearts and transform the way we think and live. When His Word lives within us, we discover truth, strength, and hope that the many other voices around us can never provide.
Timberline Windsor | Where Does My Help Come From? | Keith Jenkins
2026/09/20
Where do you turn when you need help? Psalm 121 reminds us that while we often look to other people or even within ourselves for the strength, wisdom, and security we need, neither can carry the weight of our deepest dependence. People can support and encourage us, but they cannot provide what only God can give. And relying solely on our own understanding can lead us away from the One who knows us and sees what lies ahead.
Our true help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He never sleeps, never loses sight of us, and faithfully watches over every part of our lives. Instead of depending on our own strength or expecting others to meet needs only God can fulfill, we're invited to look to Him with confidence. Whatever we face, we can trust that God is present, He is our Helper, and He will remain with us now and forever.
Timberline Church | Devoted: A Life of Devotion | Blake Barnes
2026/09/13
Following Jesus is not something you become perfect at overnight—it’s a long, gradual process of intentionally training yourself to become more like Him. Using the early church in Acts 2:42–47 as the example, the message explains that everyone already has a “Rule of Life,” meaning the routines, habits, relationships, and priorities that shape who they are. The question is whether those habits are actually shaping you into the person God wants you to be. The early Christians devoted themselves to four practices: learning from Jesus’ teaching, fellowship and loving others, breaking bread/Communion, and prayer. The message emphasizes that devotion takes time, commitment, and sacrifice, but those sacrifices can ultimately produce greater joy, love, spiritual maturity, and community. The main challenge is essentially: Are you willing to intentionally let Jesus shape the direction of your life—not perfectly or all at once, but by continually taking the next step?
Timberline Windsor | Trade the Well For the Spring | Blake Barnes
2026/09/06
The message “Trade the Well for the Spring” is about learning to stop relying on temporary things to make us feel spiritually full and instead relying on the Holy Spirit, who provides a constant source of life within us. Using Jesus’ conversation with the Samaritan woman in John 4, the message explains that she kept returning to the “well” looking for fulfillment, but Jesus offered her something completely different—a “spring of living water.” The pastor connects this to how we can repeatedly seek temporary “refills” through achievement, entertainment, other people, or even constantly trying to fix our sins and shame. Instead, we can experience God throughout everyday life, including difficult or chaotic seasons, rather than only through specific spiritual routines like church or worship. Finally, the message says that the Spirit’s life should overflow into other people—we aren’t meant to be people who get spiritually filled on Sunday and slowly empty during the week, but people who carry God’s presence into our workplaces, families, friendships, neighborhoods, and everyday interactions.
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 3 | Donny Abbott
2026/08/30
This lesson is about Psalm 3 and how to deal with fear, anxiety, hurt, and difficult circumstances by trusting God. David wrote the Psalm while running for his life because his own son, Absalom, had betrayed him and was trying to take his throne. Even though David was surrounded by enemies and had every reason to be afraid, he chose to turn to God instead of letting fear control him. The main message is that you don’t have to pretend your problems aren’t real—you can honestly identify what you’re afraid of, recognize that God is still with and protecting you, rest in His care, and trust Him with the outcome. The sermon summarizes this with four steps: identify your fear, shift your perspective toward God’s protection, rest in God’s sustaining care, and entrust your deliverance to God.
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 139 - Fully Known | Kaila Saxton
2026/08/23
This message, based on Psalm 139, is about realizing that God knows you completely, is always with you, intentionally created you, and wants to search your heart—not to shame you, but to transform you. The main point is that you don’t have to hide, pretend, or perform for God because He already knows every part of you and still loves you completely. The message moves through four ideas: God knows me, God is with me, God made me, and God searches me. Ultimately, that complete knowledge and love should lead us to stop hiding from God, surrender what needs to change, and come to Him confidently through Jesus, who demonstrated God’s love by dying for us even while we were still sinners.
Timberline Windsor | Student Weekend: Psalm 71 & Numbers 6 | Donny Abbott
2026/08/16
The main message of Student Weekend is that we should be “anchors” for the next generation by sharing how God has been faithful in our own lives, while also encouraging young people to confidently move toward their future. Psalm 71 shows us the importance of remembering and telling others what God has done, while Numbers 6 gives us the blessing of God’s provision and protection, favor and grace, and peace. The Israelites were in an uncertain “in-between” season, much like students who are moving from one stage of life to another, but God promised that His presence would remain with them. The message encourages adults to support, pray for, guide, and bless students so they know they are loved by God and have people who will help them when they make mistakes. Ultimately, we are called to pass down our stories of God’s faithfulness, invest in the next generation, and bless them so they can go into the world with faith, courage, and confidence in God.
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 136 | Donny Abbott
2026/08/09
Psalm 136 and the idea that God’s love and faithfulness never end, no matter what is happening in our lives. It teaches us to give thanks because God is good, even when life is painful or confusing, because our circumstances can change but God’s character doesn’t. The sermon also encourages us to remember what God has done for us in the past—how He has helped, provided, protected, and carried us through difficult situations—and use those memories to trust Him in the present. Ultimately, the main message is: God’s love doesn’t depend on how well we’re doing; He forgives us when we fail, stays with us through hard times, and never forgets us because “His love endures forever.”
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 118 Part 2 | Jeff Lucas
2026/08/02
Psalm 118 reveals the ways Jesus strengthened and nourished His soul on the night before His crucifixion, and how believers can do the same during life's difficult seasons. Using the psalm Jesus likely sang at the Last Supper, the speaker explains that Christians should rely on God as their helper, build their lives on Jesus as the cornerstone, rest in God's unfailing love, practice daily thankfulness, and hold firmly to the hope of Christ's victory over death through the resurrection. The sermon emphasizes that, like Jesus, we must choose faith, gratitude, and trust in God's presence even in suffering, because His enduring love and the promise of eternal life give us strength and hope.
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 118 Part 1 | Jeff Lucas
2026/07/26
The sermon on Psalm 118 emphasizes how Jesus "fed His soul" by singing this psalm at the Last Supper before facing the cross, showing that believers can also strengthen their souls through God's Word. It highlights four main lessons: first, God is our vital helper who gives strength and guidance during life's hardest moments; second, Jesus, the rejected cornerstone, is the foundation of our lives, and through Him we are deeply loved and favored by God; third, practicing gratitude transforms both our hearts and minds, as believers are called to give thanks in every circumstance because God's steadfast love never ends; and fourth, because of Jesus' resurrection, death has been defeated, giving Christians lasting hope even in times of grief. The sermon concludes by encouraging listeners to make a personal decision to follow Jesus, live with confidence in God's love, cultivate thankfulness, and find comfort in the promise of eternal life through Christ.
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 119- Home Is Where the Heart Is | Dick Foth
2026/07/19
The sermon "Home Is Where the Heart Is" teaches that while we may have many physical homes, our true home is found in God's heart through His Word. Using Psalm 119 as the foundation, the message explains that Scripture reveals God's character and provides practical guidance for everyday life by offering wisdom, purity, comfort, freedom, direction, and strength to overcome sin. The pastor emphasizes that God's Word is not merely a set of rules but a reflection of His heart that transforms us from the inside out. The sermon also highlights the importance of memorizing Scripture and pairing it with music, showing how songs help God's truth remain in our hearts and reminding us that God delights in His people. Ultimately, the message encourages believers to find their sense of belonging, purpose, and security by living according to God's Word, which leads them closer to Him and makes them feel truly at home.
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 51 | Donny Abbott
2026/07/12
Psalm 51 is a powerful prayer of repentance written by King David after he was confronted by the prophet Nathan for his sins of adultery with Bathsheba and arranging the death of her husband, Uriah. The sermon emphasizes that true spiritual growth begins with taking personal responsibility for our sins rather than making excuses or trying to hide them. Like David, we are called to honestly confess our wrongdoing, trusting that God responds with mercy, forgiveness, and cleansing. However, God's work does not stop at forgiveness—He transforms us by creating a new heart and renewing our spirit, something only He can do. As we experience His grace, our lives are changed, leading us to extend that same mercy to others. Ultimately, Psalm 51 reminds us that our failures do not have to define us; through repentance and God's grace, they can become the starting point of restoration, transformation, and a renewed relationship with Him.
Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 13 - The Invitation to Lament | Brent Cunningham
2026/07/05
This sermon is about the biblical practice of lament—bringing your pain, confusion, anger, and grief honestly to God instead of hiding it or letting it consume you. Using Psalm 13 as the main text, Pastor Brent explains that every believer experiences tension between what they know to be true about God and the hardships they face in life. Rather than denying suffering or being controlled by emotions, God invites His people to lament by honestly expressing their complaints, boldly asking for His help, and ultimately choosing to trust His character even when circumstances have not changed. The sermon emphasizes that lament is not a lack of faith but an act of faith because it keeps believers in conversation with God. It concludes by pointing to Jesus, who quoted Psalm 22 on the cross and entered fully into human suffering, showing that through His death and resurrection, God has promised that pain and lament will not have the final word. One day, God will wipe away every tear, making lament temporary and hope eternal.

Timberline Windsor | Feed My Soul: Psalm 96 | Donny Abbott
2026/06/21
This sermon on Psalm 96 explains that God is the true King who deserves worship from all people everywhere. The speaker highlights four main messages from the psalm: God's salvation is for every nation, God has no rivals and stands above all other things people may worship, God alone deserves our loyalty and devotion, and God will one day return to judge the world and make everything right. The sermon encourages believers to praise God not only when life is going well but also during difficult times, because worship helps refocus their perspective on God's greatness. It also challenges Christians to share the message of Jesus with others, especially people who have never heard it, to reject modern-day idols such as wealth, success, and comfort, and to live with hope that Jesus will return to restore all creation.
