Healing Out Loud: I Sold My Soul (To Become Who I Promised Myself I'd Be)
2026/07/15
Episode 5 of Healing Out Loud with Antwan is one I'll always remember.
First, I announced the winner of the giveaway—my close friend Austin (Instagram: @Ausaucetheman). Thank you to everyone who supported, listened, shared, and entered. There will be more opportunities to come.
This episode takes a different direction. I talk about what it really means when I say, "I sold my soul." Not to someone else—but to the vision I have for myself. I made a financial contract with myself and chose to invest in the person I'm becoming.
Every day, we sign agreements without thinking twice. We agree to the terms of social media apps. We sign employment contracts and commit to showing up for work. So why is it so hard to make that same level of commitment to ourselves?
This conversation is about discipline, accountability, self-investment, and honoring the promises you make to your future self.
You'll also notice I was smoking during this episode. I chose not to hide it because Healing Out Loud is about authenticity, not perfection. We all have vices, habits, and coping mechanisms. Mine are part of my journey, and I'm learning to understand them while continuing to grow. This isn't about glorifying them—it's about being honest about where I am as I work toward becoming a better version of myself.
If you've ever felt like it's time to stop making excuses and start honoring your own commitment, this episode is for you.
Heal out loud. Grow on purpose. Keep your contract with yourself.

Reset, Refocus, Restart
2026/07/08
In this episode of Healing Out Loud, I'm talking about what happens when life throws you off your routine. Missing a few days doesn't erase your progress, and falling off schedule doesn't mean you've failed. The most important thing is making the decision to get back up and keep going.
Sometimes your body doesn't feel ready to return to your routine, but your mind has to lead the way. Healing, growth, and discipline require consistency—even when motivation isn't there. Your body will adjust once you commit to showing up again.
This episode is a reminder that setbacks are temporary, but quitting is a choice. Stay the course, trust the process, and remember that every day is another opportunity to begin again. Progress isn't about being perfect—it's about refusing to give up on yourself.
Healing Through Nature — A Walk Toward Peace
2026/06/30
In this episode of Healing Out Loud with Antwan, I invite you to step outside, slow down, and reconnect with the healing power of nature. Join me on a peaceful walk as I share reflections on how spending time outdoors can help quiet the mind, reduce stress, and support your mental and emotional well-being.
Whether you're walking through a park, your neighborhood, or simply listening from wherever you are, this episode is an invitation to breathe deeply, be present, and remember that healing doesn't always happen in silence—it can happen one step at a time.
Take this walk with me, embrace the moment, and allow nature to remind you that peace is always within reach.
Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself
2026/06/27
Welcome to the very first episode of Healing Out Loud with Antwan. This episode marks the beginning of a new chapter as I officially transition from My Turn to Healing Out Loud—a name that better reflects my purpose and the conversations I want to have.
In this episode, I share why this change matters, the importance of expressing yourself with honesty and positivity, and how healing starts when you embrace who you are. We also talk about discovering your purpose by building on your gifts, experiences, and passions instead of trying to force something that doesn't truly align with who you are.
If you're searching for clarity, growth, or the courage to become your authentic self, this episode is for you. Join me as we begin this journey of healing, purpose, and transformation—out loud.
