Description

A married midwestern couple react to movies they've never seen before and give their analysis upon first watch. We cover pretty much all movie genres because there's a lot we haven't seen yet. Each show starts with an intro where we discuss what they know about a movie before seeing it. Then we take a break to go watch it and return to give our immediate reaction and analysis. At the end of each show we read listener email and comments. Most podcast content can be found at Patreon.com/neverseenitpod. New Episodes every Sunday. **Beware of spoilers**

420. Obsession (2026)

2026/10/18

Never Scream It continues its tradition of including a brand new horror movie destined to be an instant classic. This year we may have outdone ourselves by covering the movie that everyone was...obsessing over earlier this year. Here is Obsession. p.s. Please go watch the 1976 movie Obsession from Brian De Palma, it's so good. 418. Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)

2026/10/04

It's that time again when the leaves are changing and there's something in the air that seems a little unworldly. Maybe don't lick the plants in the 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers as we kickstart this year's Never Scream It series!! 417. Brazil (1985)

We're back for week 3 of this edition of our series of weird movies. Making his triumphant return to the podcast, it's John Carpenter's They Live starring Rowdy Roddy Piper and Keith David. 414. The Lighthouse (2019)

2026/09/06

What better way to wind down the summer than to bring back an old favorite series of ours? It's time once again to talk about weird movies. First up is the 2nd movie from writer/director Robert Eggers, whose first movie was featured in Never Scream It last year, so at least we have a feeling that The Lighthouse will be a worthy inclusion in this series. 413. Moonstruck (1987)

2026/08/30

Closing out the month of August, we've chosen a movie out of left field because in what other context could we ever cover a film like Moonstruck? And in what other world would you look at the pairing of Cher and Nicholas Cage and say, "Yeah, that works."? Enjoy. Since we've got a couple weeks left of August, we've decided to do a couple of one-off episodes to round out the month. This week's episode is a long-awaited follow up to Episode 218 that we put out over 3 years ago. It's finally time to put the gloves back on and cover Rocky II. 411. The Odyssey (2026)

2026/08/16

We've reached the end of our own odyssey with the final entry of our 5th annual Decades series here at Never Seen It. It's been quite the journey, but we couldn't think of a better way to end it. Here is our take on Christopher Nolan's latest epic: The Odyssey. 410. 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)

2026/08/09

For our next entry of the Decades series, we go back 10 years to cover a movie which happens to be the follow-up to a movie we watched for one of our Patreon shows earlier this year. It just so happens that we really liked that movie...how fortuitous. Here is 10 Cloverfield Lane from first-time director Dan Trachtenberg. 409. Lady in the Water (2006)

2026/08/02

It’s a double-whammy this week. Our next entry into the Decades series just to happened to coincide with the next installment of M. Night Shyamalan's filmography, so it was a natural choice. It's time for Lady in the Water from 2006. More Content: https://patreon.com/neverseenitpod Our Links: https://lnk.bio/neverseenit Movie Info: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452637/

408. A Time to Kill (1996)

2026/07/26

No series that includes the 90s would be complete without a courtroom drama and no one in the 90s did that genre like John Grisham. Join us for our next stop through the decades in 1996 with A Time to Kill.
