Why do Christians lift their hands in worship? Is it tradition? Emotion Personality? Pentecostal culture? Or is there something deeper happening? Throughout Scripture, raising hands in worship was never meaningless religious motion. It communicated something. In this message, Pastor Chad Fisher explores what the Bible reveals about lifting our hands and uncovers 8 powerful biblical meanings behind this practice. In this teaching you'll discover: ...Why lifted hands express surrender ...Why lifted hands show dependence on God ...How lifted hands reveal spiritual hunger ...Why praise was never meant to stay internal ...How lifted hands express expectant faith ...Why worship participates in spiritual warfare ...How thanksgiving becomes visible ...Why lifted hands remain a New Testament practice This message is not about emotionalism. It is about understanding what God intended. Because throughout Scripture, worship was never merely inward. God designed worship to involve the heart, the mind, and at times the visible response of our lives.
