Howard Guinness wrote Sacrifice in 1936 when he was a qualified medical doctor. However, he never practiced medicine but rather spent his life as a Christian evangelist to students throughout the world. Sacrifice went through twenty reprintings up to the 1960's. Howard Guinness was a winner of souls and followed in the steps of his grandfather Henry Guinness. From the time of his medical training at Bart's, London and through his years as a worldwide student evangelist Dr. Guinness lived the message in his book, Sacrifice. In reading Sacrifice a multitude of readers have caught the same desire to live a life of sacrifice for their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  

This is a reading of Matthew Barker's COMMUNION WITH GOD. Matthew Barker was a non-conformist preacher who lived from 1619-1698.
