David Tender - A7FL MVP Nominee (8.30.2026)
2026/08/31
Story by: Gail Nobles
Photo Cover by: Gail Nobles
There are Giants in the A7FL. David Tender is one of them. And his accomplishments in the league go back beyond his 2026 MVP nomination.
When you talk about the 2026 American 7s Football League, one player who deserves recognition is David Tender of the Silk City Animals.
Tender is a quarterback who helped lead the Animals through an impressive 2026 campaign. Silk City finished the regular season with 5–1–1 (5 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie) record and advanced to the Eastern Conference Championship.
Tender has also made his presence known as a runner, including a spectacular 30-yard touchdown scramble where he completely evaded the defense during the season.
Tender’s accomplishments in the A7FL go beyond his 2026 campaign. He was named 2024 A7FL Rookie of the Year and 2024 A7FL Offensive Player of the Year, establishing himself as one of the league’s standout players.
Now, Tender has another accomplishment to add to his 2026 season: he is an official nominee for the A7FL’s 2026 MVP Award.
The nomination puts Tender among a group of players being recognized by the league and its fans for their performances this season.
The NFL has a long history of putting its players in the spotlight. The A7FL is building its own history—and players like David Tender are a part of it.
So this is my recognition of David Tender, number 7, quarterback of the Silk City Animals—and a 2026 A7FL MVP nominee.
I’m Gail Nobles. Today’s Topic: David Tender. Thank you for listening to EPS! A7FL!

Amar’e Stoudemire-The Air Titan (8.26.’26)
2026/08/26
Story by: Gail Nobles
Podcast cover by: Gail Nobles
I have seen Amar’e Stoudemire’s highlight reel. He’s a giant who stands tall with talent. When he rises into the air, he brings the ball down into the basket with such force that I can almost feel the weight of the man in flight.
Newly inducted Hall of Famer Amar’e Stoudemire was enshrined in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on August 15, 2026. Just one week later, on August 22, he came out of retirement to play in the 2026 BIG3 All-Star Game, which took place at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. Stoudemire previously served as a captain for the BIG3 team Tri-State.
When I watch Stoudemire play, I can see something supernatural in his flight and his aggressive style. He is an Air Titan — a player who combines the ability to rise high above the floor with sheer physical strength.
He is a sky giant.
The Genie of the Rim.
To watch Amar’e Stoudemire step onto the court is to witness the unsealing of a mythical vessel. Like an ancient genie trapped inside glass, his explosive power is compressed, waiting for the perfect moment to be set free.
And when that moment arrives, the bottle shatters.
He rises through the air with majestic height and mighty, ferocious strength, leaving rims rattling and defenders frozen beneath him. His game carries the feeling of something larger than ordinary basketball — a high-flying phenomenon conjured from pure basketball magic.
Amar'e Stoudemire is the Air Titan.

Today's topic: Panthers Turn the Tables on Jaguars. I'm Gail Nobles.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Last year, the Jacksonville Jaguars opened their 2025 season with a 26-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers. But Friday night, Carolina returned to Jacksonville and changed the outcome.
In the second week of the 2026 NFL preseason, the Panthers defeated the Jaguars, 34-17.
Carolina took control early and carried a 20-6 lead into halftime. The Panthers finished the game with 385 total yards and held Jacksonville to 318.
The victory gives Carolina a different result in Jacksonville than the teams’ previous meeting. The Panthers will now turn their attention to the remainder of the preseason as they prepare for the 2026 regular season.
For Jacksonville, the 34-17 loss is another preseason test as the Jaguars continue preparing for the season ahead.

Hello! I’m Gail Nobles, & you’re listening to Minor League Maven on EPS. Today’s topic: Bud Fowler. - BudFowler Pitched 3-0 Victory over Tecumsehs in 1878.
In 1878, this talented player made history while playing for the Lynn Live Oaks baseball team. That year, he not only helped lead his team to an official league victory but also marked a significant moment in baseball history.
On May 17, 1878, Bud pitched in a game against the Tecumsehs of London, Ontario. His performance was outstanding, as he helped secure a 3–0 win. This game is especially important because it was Bud's professional debut and the first time an African American played in organized professional baseball.
Throughout that season, Bud continued to do his best for the Lynn Live Oaks. He pitched in a couple more league games, but unfortunately, he didn’t win those matches. Eventually, the team merged or Bud moved on to new opportunities.
In addition to the league games, Bud Fowler also played a remarkable exhibition game earlier that spring against the champion Boston Red Caps, showcasing his talent on a bigger stage.
Bud Fowler's contributions to baseball in 1878 were not just about the games he played; they represented a significant step in breaking racial barriers in professional sports. His legacy continues to be celebrated as an important part of baseball history.

SB - Ryan Hezi God Carter 2 8.8.’26 7.46 PM
2026/08/08
Story by: Gail Nobles
Podcast cover by: Gail Nobles
Ending Music: Passion Hi-Fi
Today, we want to talk about Ryan Hezi God Carter as an awesome Streetball Player.
The Battle for Mainstream Eyes
Without a corporate media push, incredible street talents are often trapped in a digital bubble. Millions of casual fans watch traditional sports channels without ever knowing that one of the most dominant isolation scorers in the world is ruling a blacktop in California. Mainstream covers grant a level of prestige and widespread discovery that an independent smartphone video simply cannot reach on its own.
Chasing the Ghost of "Skip to My Lou"
When you look back at streetball history, the gold standard is . In the early 2000s, SLAMmagazine boldly put Skip on the cover, launching the global AND1 Mixtape era and bridging the gap between the streets and the NBA. Hezi God has that exact same culture-shifting talent. He deserves that iconic print recognition just like the legends before him, because his impact on the concrete is undeniable.
Pure Bully-Ball Style
When you look past the media bubble, you see a street style that deserves that national spotlight. Unlike traditional streetballers who rely purely on flashy, low-contact tricks, Carter plays a brutal, physical brand of basketball. At 6'0 with a muscular frame, he combines ankle-breaking speed with pure power. His signature move—a physical overhead rip-through followed by a downhill drive—is built for true, unforgiving one-on-one dominance.
Ultimately, this custom Backboard cover is more than just a piece of digital design—it’s a visual statement of what should be. By placing Ryan "Hezi God" Carter in the legendary print spotlight he has earned, we bridge the gap between his dominant blacktop reality and the mainstream recognition he deserves. The concrete already knows his name; it’s time the rest of the world does, too.

SB - Ryan “Hezi God” Carter 8.5.’26 10.27 PM
2026/08/06
Story by: Gail Nobles
Podcast Cover by: Gail Nobles
Music Intro: Passion Hi-Fi
Usage: Free Beats
Intro: Ryan "Hezi God" Carter does not have official, mainstream sports magazine covers like Sports Illustrated or SLAM. But I’m putting him on the podcast cover of Entertainment Podcasting Sports. He’s an incredible streetball player and has been an incredible player in the BIG3. Earlier in the podcast, we talked about him being a BIG3 player...
The Missing Validation of Prin
Some might argue that in the digital age, a player doesn't need legacy media if they have an Instagram following. But the truth is, Hezi God did need a magazine cover. Not everyone is standing on the concrete at Venice Beach to see him play live, and algorithms only show his highlights to people who already love streetball. A mainstream cover is what bridges the gap, introducing a playground legend to the casual sports world and solidifying them in history.
The BIG3 Blueprint: Proving the Critics Wrong
For years, mainstream basketball purists argued that playground talents couldn't survive in a structured, professional league with strict refereeing. Carter completely shattered that narrative in Ice Cube's professional 3-on-3 league. He didn't just play; he dominated, winning the BIG3 Rookie of the Year award and dropping a historic, record-breaking 35-point game. If a performance like that doesn't earn you a national magazine cover, the system is broken.
The Podcast Co-Sign
Because the major publications haven’t given him his due print features, independent platforms have to step up. That is why an outlet like Entertainment Podcasting Sports is the perfect place to put him on the cover. If the mainstream media won't introduce his awesome professional legacy to the wider public, we will.
I’m Gail Nobles. Tune in again for more news about Ryan “Hezi God” Carter part 2 on EPS.

Sports Vision - To the Man with His Head Hung Down 8.4.’26 10.17 PM

To the man I saw with his head hung down...
In sports, we are taught to only celebrate the wins. We look at the highlights, the home runs, and the trophies. But lately, I’ve been thinking about the silent moments. The moments where the stadium lights feel too bright, the expectations feel too heavy, and the weight of the game forces your head low.
Maybe you’re a baseball player sitting in the dugout right now, feeling like you keep striking out. Maybe you’re an athlete in another sport, or maybe you’re just a listener trying to navigate your own daily lineup. I want to say to you directly: These are hard times.
It is okay to feel tired. It is okay to hang your head for a moment under the weight of it all. Human strength has its limits. But a downcast head is not the final score. Your value isn't just in your performance, and you don't have to carry the whole game on your shoulders alone.
If your head is down today, take a breath. Rest. But remember that the inning isn't over. Keep your faith, because you are worth so much more than the mistakes of the past season. Lift your eyes when you're ready—your team, your community, and your purpose are still waiting for you.

Story by: Gail Nobles
Podcast cover by: Gail Nobles
Welcome to Entertainment Podcasting Sports, and we’re in the Huddle Room. Today's topic is Chris Brazzell II Undergo Surgery
Christopher Brazzell II, a young football player for the Carolina Panthers, is set to have surgery on his left knee. The 22-year-old wide receiver was born on September 22, 2003, and has been working hard on the field. According to the news, unfortunately, he has a problem with the lateral collateral ligament of his knee, which means he will have to rest for the rest of the season.
After the surgery, he will be added to the injured reserve list, which means he can’t play for now. This is tough news for him and the team, but there is hope for the future.
While he is recovering, Brazzell will have time to watch games and study his teammates and opponents. He can learn more about their skills and what they do well, as well as understand their weaknesses. By learning this, he can come back stronger and smarter when he is ready to play again.
Fans are hopeful that when Brazzell returns, he will be even better than before and will help the Panthers win more games.

BREAKING NEWS: The Birth of the "Head-Butt Dunk"—Duke Earl Ellison Stuns the Basketball World
Can Anyone Beat the Fictional Duke Earl Ellison?
The Historical Feat: Fictional basketball phenom Duke Earl Ellison has officially rewritten the record books, executing an unprecedented slam dunk maneuver that has left analysts and fans completely speechless.
The "Head-Butt Dunk": During a high-stakes slam dunk contest exhibition, Ellison sprinted down the court, bounced the basketball, launched it high into the air, and threw it directly through the hoop using only his head.
Childhood Roots: Sports historians say Ellison developed his incredible passing accuracy and coordination as a kid by practicing the unique habit of balancing heavy objects on his head.
Unprecedented Achievement: League commissioners confirmed that no player in professional or streetball history has ever successfully performed a head-butt dunk in competition before.
No player has ever headbutted a basketball directly into the hoop during an official NBA or professional game instead of slamming it with their hands. Doing this would be nearly impossible to execute intentionally in a live game. So no one has beat the fictional character Duke Earl Ellison.

Mitchell Robinson-Remarkable Rebounding 5.24.’26 7.21 PM
2026/05/24
Story by: Gail Nobles
Podcast Cover by: Gail Nobles
We've got some exciting news from the NBA that's buzzing in the air! Let's talk about Mitchell Robinson, the big man for the New York Knicks, who is truly making history with his amazing offensive rebounding skills.
Now, you might be wondering, what’s so special about offensive rebounds? Well, let me tell you—Mitchell is pulling down nearly 9 to 10 offensive boards for every 36 minutes he plays. That's not just good—it's record-breaking! It’s something we have never seen before in the history of the NBA!
While the basketball stats fans rave about Robinson’s abilities, many casual viewers may not realize the huge impact he has on games. His hustle and hard work give the Knicks more chances to score. When he grabs an offensive rebound, it's like giving his teammates a second chance. They can take another shot, which often leads to open three-pointers or easy baskets close to the hoop.
But that's not all! His rebounding also messes with the other team's defense. Opposing players have to pay extra attention to him, and sometimes that leads to fouls or mistakes. It's not just about the rebounds; it’s about how he changes the whole game!
And let's not forget his physical presence! Mitchell's strength on the boards can wear down opponents. When the games get tough and the Knicks need a boost, his energy can spark the team and shift the momentum. He is a beast on the boards, and it makes a huge difference when the offense isn’t clicking.
So, next time you watch a Knicks game, keep an eye on Mitchell Robinson. His remarkable rebounding might not always be in the spotlight, but his relentless hustle is a key part of what makes the Knicks tick. Basketball fans, we are witnessing something truly special with this talented player!

The 2025 NFC Logjam
How 8 & 9 became the magic number for the Carolina Panthers
Story by Gail Nobles
Podcast Cover by Gail Nobles
AI Announcer: Looking back at the 2025 regular season, “intense” might be an understatement. In a division race that felt more like a marathon sprint, the Carolina Panthers officially reclaimed their throne, ..
Gail: Yes, finishing the year at 8-9 to secure their first NFC South title since 2015.
It wasn’t a runaway victory. In fact, by the time the final whistle blew on the regular season, the top of the division looked like a total logjam. The Panthers, Buccaneers, and Falcons all ended with identical 8-9 records.
How the Panthers Stole the ShowThe turning point came late in December. While the Buccaneers held the lead for much of the early season, Carolina surged when it mattered most. A massive 23-20 victory over Tampa Bay in Week 16 shifted the momentum, putting the Panthers in the driver’s seat.
Even with a tough loss to the Buccaneers to end their schedule in Week 18 January 3, 2026): Carolina clinched the division thanks to tiebreakers—specifically their performance against common opponents and divisional rivals.
The Final 2025 Scoreboard
NFC South 2025 Final Standings• Carolina Panthers: 1st Place (Division Champions) with a record of 8 wins and 9 losses.• Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2nd Place with a record of 8 wins and 9 losses.• Atlanta Falcons: 3rd Place with a record of 8 wins and 9 losses.• New Orleans Saints: 4th Place with a record of 6 wins and 11 losses.
A Wild FinishThe Atlanta Falcons were the dark horse of December, closing out the year with a four-game winning streak. Their late-season push actually helped the Panthers; by defeating the Saints 19-17 in the final week, the Falcons inadvertently cleared the path for Carolina to stay on top of the heap via tiebreakers.
Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints struggled to keep pace, finishing at the bottom of the division with 11 losses and a staggering -77 point differential.
As the page turns to the new season, the big question remains: Was last year’s three-way tie a sign that the division is up for grabs, or can the Panthers turn that 8-win playoff berth into a dominant winning season this time around?
