This touching piece follows the life of a South Korean immigrant family who moves from California to rural Arkansas in the 1980s in search of the American dream. It earned six Oscar nominations, winning one of them, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film. And for good reason. Listen on as we talk about this beautifully touching ode to the hardships of building life and family, of holding on to dreams and of having faith through adversity.

Ari, Shaddy & Ben are back and this time, they are dicussing the British drama mini-series, It's A Sin. The show is set in London during the 1970s and 80s, as the AIDS pandemic begins to affect the lives of gay boys who are only beginning to understand their identities. They discuss the character arcs that brought them to tears, the injustice of the homophobia faced by gay individuals, and the struggle that is experienced in trying to exist within the queer community. But amongst the tragedy, lies beautiful moments of joy and friendship and freedom. Listen to them dissect the personhood that can be discovered behind the acts we put up.
