Join Gary Steffes and Brad Newburg in Part 3 of a deep dive into John 15! In this episode, they walk through verses 12–15 to reveal how we can truly love one another as Christ has loved us—even those in our lives who are incredibly difficult, rude, or mean. So many believers try to love others through sheer willpower, human effort, and grit, only to end up exhausted and frustrated. But Brad and Gary remind us that we cannot give away what we do not have. To love sacrificially and lay down our lives like Jesus, we must first receive and be completely overwhelmed by His love for us. When we abide in His presence, we move from mere head knowledge to an intimate, heart-level experience of His grace, allowing Christ's love to flow through us as a natural conduit to the world around us. Whether you are seeking grace to forgive someone who has wronged you, longing to understand what it means to be called a friend of Jesus, or desiring to bear fruit that abides, join Gary and Brad as they break down Scripture line by line to help you stop striving and start abiding in God's overwhelming love! Join Gary Steffes and Brad Newburg in Part 2 of a deep dive into John 15! In this episode, they walk through verses 6–8 to unpack the power of answered prayer, the danger of self-reliant effort, and what it truly means to bear fruit that brings glory to the Father. So many believers try to manufacture spiritual success through self-effort, only to find themselves spiritually exhausted and withering away. But Jesus shows us that true fruitfulness isn't forced—it flows naturally when His words dwell rich within our hearts. When we stay connected to the Vine, our desires align with God's heart, bold prayer is unlocked, and our lives become a living testimony of His grace. Whether you are looking to deepen your study of God's Word or seeking encouragement in your daily walk, join Gary and Brad as they break down Scripture line by line to help you stop striving and start abiding! Join Gary Steffes and Brad Newburg in Part 1 of a deep dive into John 15! In this episode, they walk through verses 1–5 to reveal what it truly means to abide in Jesus, the True Vine, and why apart from Him we can do nothing. So many believers get caught up in striving, trying to produce spiritual fruit through willpower and effort. But Jesus makes it clear that the branch doesn't strain to produce fruit—it simply stays connected to the Vine. When we remain in Him and allow God the Father to prune and shape us, true transformation and lasting fruit flow naturally out of our connection to Christ. Whether you are looking to deepen your study of God's Word or seeking encouragement in your daily walk, join Gary and Brad as they break down Scripture line by line to help you stop striving and start abiding!
