Is Going From One to Two Kids Easier Than Zero to One?
2026/02/01
What really changes after your second baby?
In this episode, I'm sharing an honest look at the transition from one child to two - what surprised me, what felt easier, what felt harder, and what I'm doing differently this time around.
My girls are almost 1 and almost 3, and while I feel like we're (maybe?) finding a rhythm, the shift from one to two kids has rocked our world. I went into it hoping 1–2 would be easier than 0–1, and today I'm reflecting on where I actually landed.
I'm answering your questions and sharing my personal experience caring for a newborn and toddler as a full time SAHM. Here's what we'll get into:
Managing the demands of a two little kids simultaneously How love expands (and looks different) with each child What changed the second time around? Cloth diapering, cosleeping, weaning What stayed the same as I became a mom of two? Early homeschool thoughts Navigating sibling dynamics and boundaries Marriage & intimacy in the postpartum period Motherhood keeps teaching me that I *can* adapt, expand, and meet each new challenge as it comes - one season at a time.
I'd love to hear from you. What shifted for you as your family grew? What did you keep and what did you let go of?
If this episode resonated, please share it with a friend, leave a review, or send me a message. It means so much!

Postpartum Support: Tips for Emotional Health & Winter Slowdown
2025/12/23
Lately I've been experiencing an emotional & mental dip postpartum. Maybe it's the hormones, maybe it's winter fully arriving, maybe it's just the reality of the season I'm in - but it's been hard.
I've noticed more irritability, feeling overwhelmed, being quick to anger, and those quiet thoughts that whisper "you're not doing enough" or "you're a bad mom."
In this short episode, I'm sharing a few simple things that are genuinely supporting my nervous system and mood right now. Nothing flashy. Nothing "fixing" me. Just small anchors that are helping me feel more grounded and resourced as a busy mom of two.
✨I'll talk about:
Realistic self care What changed when I deleted Netflix Why embracing a more minimal lifestyle has helped calm my mind The importance of sisterhood and staying connected with friends Using a simple chore chart to make my home feel lighter and more manageable Creating intentional tech-free time Making a vision board for the new year as a gentle, intentional practice (and why I'm anti-new years resolutions) And how I'm learning to honor the slow down that winter invites If you're postpartum, in a tender emotional season, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the pace of life, this episode is a reminder that you're not broken and you're not alone.
Take what resonates. Leave the rest. 🤍

Raising Healthy Eaters

Our Family's Approach to Less Processed, More Purposeful Food
Feeding little ones doesn't have to mean pouches, panic, or pinterest-perfect snacks. In this episode, I'm breaking down how we approach food in our home from baby-led weaning to healthy toddler snacks, and how I keep it (mostly) simple, real, and from scratch.
We'll talk about:
Where to start with BLW What foods to avoid feeding your littles (and the best "snacky" alternatives) Making from scratch cooking easier Sourdough tips for newbies Solo cooking vs including your kids Are seed oils actually that bad? And my meal planning rhythm for a family of four This episode is a little bit food philosophy, a little bit practical tips, and a whole lot of encouragement to embrace the role of NOURISHER of your family.
Wild or Wise? Walking the Line of Wild Pregnancy and Free Birth
2025/11/03
Today I'm sharing the story of my second pregnancy and home birth, one that started as a "wild pregnancy," full of questions, unlearning, and healing.
I talk about wrestling with my overly romanticized idea of free birth and the big, scary questions that come with unassisted birth like, what if something goes wrong? What if I could have prevented it?
As my pregnancy progressed I slowly forged my own path somewhere in the middle and learned a LOT about myself along the way.
It all led to the most perfect, redemptive, and healing midwife-assisted birth.
This one's for the moms wanting more autonomy in pregnacy and birth but still questioning what kind of birth is right for them. Where's the line between intuition and safety, control and trust?
Listen in for:
What a "wild pregnancy" really means
Putting free birth on a pedestal
How guilt from past birth experiences can shape new choices
Finding a balance between medical care and full autonomy
The power of mutual trust in birth work

Hiatus Reflections: Mothering Two, Moving Across the Country, Toddler Tantrums
2025/10/26
After taking an unplanned break from the podcast, I'm back :) with more life lived, more lessons learned, and more permission to change my mind as I grow.
In this episode, I'm sharing some major life updates... what it looked like going from one to two kids, moving from CO to NC four months postpartum (whose idea was that?!?), and navigating the very real emotional rollercoaster of toddlerhood, all while I do my best to stay grounded, regulated, and human.
This isn't a "here's how to do it perfectly" conversation. It's more "here's what's real, here's what's messy, and here's what's been helping."
If you've ever felt like you're rebuilding yourself in real time — let's walk the path together. I'm glad you're here!

How I EASILY Manifested My Second Baby
2024/10/07
In case you missed it, I'm pregnant with baby #2! Manifesting this second pregnancy was so easy and so FUN (compared to the struggle bus that was TTC baby # 1) and today I'll share a few things that made all the difference.
This episode is full of fresh manifestation tips that I've been leaning into - like using music to manifest, affirmations that actually work, what to do when you're stuck in a rut, and more! Whether you're focused on fertility, pregnancy, & motherhood or not, anyone can benefit from these conscious creation tips.
If you've been feeling blocked with calling a desire into your life or you feel like your manifestation practice needs a reboot… this one is for you!

The Truth About Gaining Weight & Quitting Diet Culture
2024/07/26
Katie Crokus, recipe creator and storyteller, is back on the podcast today! Our life paths intertwined during my years as a health coach when Katie came to me on a journey to leanness, but ended up walking a much more challenging path... One away from diet culture and towards freedom, confidence, peace, and yes - bigger clothes.
Our stories are similar as we each spent YEARS as chronic dieters, obsessed with fat loss, never missing a workout, and only eating what fit into our daily macros.
Fast forward to today - neither of us hardly even thinks about food! We feel happy in our bodies, we are thriving in life & motherhood, and eating healthy feels EASY.
How did we get here? What were the biggest hurdles to overcome? Weren't we afraid to gain weight? Is moderation actually real? Even with ice cream?! Do you ever want your leaner body back? We dig into the answers to these questions and so much more in this deep, authentic, and honest AF conversation. If you're in the thick of dieting and body image challenges right now, I hope you feel seen & supported today 🤍

Releasing Fear and Doubt in Pregnancy & Birth with Audrey Ross
2024/04/08
Almost HALF of all women experience birth trauma.
Today, I chat with Audrey Ross of A Joyful Birth about why this might be. Why is it so hard to trust our bodies when it comes to birth? Why are we as a society so scared of birth? How do we break free from the fear and step back into our innate womanly power?
Audrey is a birthkeeper, educator of physiologic birth, and a mother. She went from a breech hospital birth with her first, to a homebirth with licensed midwives with her second baby, to a freebirth, and now she's currently journeying through a wild pregnancy (no medical intervention, no scans, etc.) and planning her second freebirth!
Together we dive into:
Why the hospital might NOT be the safest place to give birth (failure to progress, anyone?!) Pros and cons of homebirth with midwives How to protect yourself and your space in pregnancy and birth Audrey's choice of wild pregnancy and freebirth How to build trust in your body's ability to birth a healthy baby -------------------------
