Welcome to our first season " Sound & Vision" in which I invite photographers, directors and musicians that have become close friends over the years, to let us in behind the sound and images they create.  In this second session I talk to British Grammy Award winning musician and producer known under his stage name Mr. Hudson. Ben has collaborated with the likes of Kanye West, John Legend, Janelle Monae, Miley Cyrus to name a few...He has also performed on stage during the Celebrating David Bowie tour alongside Mike Garson and additional notable guests. Mr. Hudson released his solo record in 2019 - When The Machine Stops - his sci-fi project: a full-length album, also featuring  Vic Mensa on their new collaboration  "Chicago". We discuss the emotional paradox behind creating melancholic music in happy times, and the need to produce more hopeful work in dreary moments. Having both been unable to set foot in LA for the last year, we both fondly recall what the city means to us. In this first session I talk to composer, musician and producer Tristan Béchet, also known under the name TRZTN. We discuss his journey from being a student at a French art school to becoming a key fixture of the NYC music underground scene in the 90s and establishing himself as a well-sought after producer and composer for luxury brands all over the world, in addition to collaborating on film scores with Karen O on the Golden Globes nominee  movie "Where The Wild Things Are", directed by Spike Jonze.  His latest solo release Royal Dagger Ballet is a 10 tracks highly collaborative piece that will take you on a special audio and visual journey.
