Glenn Campbell - Summer Splash 2026 - Talk 1 - Breaking Protocol
2026/09/10
David breaks protocol when he extends mercy to Mephibosheth. Jesus breaks protocol everywhere when speaking to the unworthy or touching the diseased. He demonstrates the incredible love, grace and mercy of God. We are called to act counter-cultural and break protocol in our lives.
Glenn Campbell - Summer Splash 2026 - Talk 2 - Names Matter
2026/09/10
Jesus-the One Who Saves. Christ- the Anointed One. Anybody who puts their faith and trust in Jesus, gets their name in the Book of Life and lives forever.
Glenn Campbell - Summer Splash 2026 - Talk 3 - God Delights in Us
2026/09/10
God sees our mess, just as David saw Mephibosheth's mess and invites us to his table. He extends kindness and mercy. When we follow him, we will sit at his Royal table as Royal Sons and Daughters of the King.
Glenn Campbell - Summer Splash 2026 - Talk 4 - Guilt and Shame
2026/09/10
To sin means to "miss the mark." We all miss the mark and live in the mess which results in guilt and shame. Guilt means "I did something wrong" and Shame means "there is something wrong with me".  God knows we are not designed to carry guilt and shame and it will destroy us. Jesus is the answer. Through His crucification, he takes our mess and gives us his righteousness. He has the power to save us in an instant and transform our lives.
Glenn Campbell - Summer Splash 2026 - Talk 5 - Jesus is the Way
2026/09/10
The gospel is simple because it is all about relationship and believing the three components. 1. Jesus Christ died on the cross, 2. He was buried, 3. He rose on the 3rd day. When you step into a relationship with Jesus, the old, broken, flawed, messy part of you has been nailed to the cross and buried. Through baptism, you have been raised to new life.
Glenn Campbell - Summer Splash 2026 - Talk 6 - God is with you, always.
2026/09/10
Live in the reality of the presence of God. He is with us, always. We are constantly running and chasing feelings, trying to find the next high, the next great experience. We only have to believe in Jesus in order to live in the reality of His presence. It is the joy of our lives that we have been given access to his table.
Kevin Thomas - Winter Weekend February 2026 - Talk 1 - My hour has not yet come
2026/02/17
Jesus's first miracle was extravagant but only known to a few. His time to let other know of his Greatness was yet to come.
Kevin Thomas - Winter Weekend February 2026 - Talk 2 - Hometowns
2026/02/16
Whether comforting or unsettling, hometowns are significant to us. In Luke's Gospel, we hear the story of Jesus returning to his hometown of Nazareth and how he upsets the townspeople with his message. When we invite Jesus into our lives, his message can be both comforting or unsettling.
Kevin Thomas - Winter Weekend February 2026 - Talk 3 - The Sower and the Seed
2026/02/15
In the parable of the seed falling on different ground, we often try to define ourselves or others as one of the different types: the hard ground, the rocky ground, the thorny ground and the fertile ground. However, each of us has all the types within ourselves.
Kevin Thomas - Winter Weekend February 2026 - Talk 4 - Mary and Martha
2026/02/14
In Luke 10, we hear the story of Mary and Martha. Mary violates social norms and hosting duties by sitting at Jesus's feet while Martha serves the guests alone. When confronted by Martha, Jesus sides with Mary. He teaches us the importance of sitting quietly to receive God's peace. Jesus settles our souls.
Kevin Thomas - Winter Weekend February 2026 - Talk 5 - Peter's Restoration
2026/02/13
John 21 tells the story of the disciples struggling to fish as Jesus shouts from shore to throw the net over the other side. When the disciples recognize that it's the resurrected Jesus, they rush to him. Jesus addresses Peter 3 times, "do you love me?" and Peter affirms him 3 times. In doing that, Peter understand that his pat denials are forgiven and his job going forward it to tend the Lord's people. Our pathway forward is unknown, but Jesus walks alongside us.

2026/01/16
God in a trinitarian from can show up in a wide variety of ways. How do you see God-Jesus the Human, Holy Spirit the Breath, Abba the loving Father, God the Creator? Remember who you are and that you belong to God.
Mike Carlson - Winter Weekend January 2026 - Talk 2 - Who are You?
2026/01/15
How do you understand you? Identity work is one of the most helpful tools to discover how you best connect with God. Are you The Speculative, The Heart, The Mystic or The Social Justice Seeker? When we live in a world that values independence, we think we don't need anything or we're not tied to anything. However, we have a great human need to be connected to God and each other.
Mike Carlson - Winter Weekend January 2026 - Talk 3 - Move the Rock
2026/01/14
