Chores, Scripts, and a Nice Glass of Bourbon
2025/08/25
In this episode, Pam and Eric dive into the generational “scripts” they inherited around household roles—and how those scripts still echo in modern marriages. Pam grew up with the Enjoli commercial- the mantra that women should do it all: bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, and keep their husbands feeling like the man. But as they’ve learned, doing it all often leads to burnout and resentment. Join the Hagas as they share a candid (and funny) look at how they divide chores, rewrite old patterns, and make room for more balance in their partnership—all while enjoying this week’s bourbon picks: George T. Stagg (135 proof) and Nashville Barrel Small Batch – Cask Strength.
WE CRAY Podcast - Episode 1
2021/04/15
Welcome to the first episode of WE CRAY podcast! I'm your host, Pam Haga. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the USA.  Why ANOTHER podcast?  Because your story just might connect with my story.  Let's walk, laugh, learn, dance, cry, and maybe even crawl sometimes through this journey called life...TOGETHER.  EPISODE 1. What is your narrative for your life? How did you learn to believe what you believe?  Pam explains that we are ALL given a script from birth without realizing it, without our parents realizing the script that they hand down, that's been handed down to them, and so on.  Stop for a minute and think about your script.  How has it shaped the way you've been relational with others? I hope this episode helps you sit for a moment and find your awareness.   I look forward to hearing your ideas, your stories, and your questions. Feel free to email me at [email protected]
