Josh and Leia welcome Tim Hardwick for a surprisingly (and sadly) ever-prescient conversation about feminism, violence against women and the responsibility of men to speak up against other men. Wonder Woman: Historia is a gorgeous, heartbreaking book that reimagines the creation myth of the Amazons while pulling no punches. It is both beautiful and heartbreaking in it's brutality. No jokes, this is a heavy listen but we implore anyone who calls themselves a feminist to listen.

Josh and Leia are joined by all around badass Ace Hendrix to talk about Dark Knights: Metal! Yes, this book is ridiculous. But it's FUN ridiculous. We talk the Batman Who Laughs, Hot Topic and we get our first look in this podcast at Detective Chimp!

WE ARE BACK (and not just because Josh totally forgot to edit episodes!) Leia and Josh welcome one of their favorites - Royal Hebert - to talk about Superior Spider-Man! Have you ever heard a synopsis of a story and thought "that's going to be really stupid" and then it ISN'T? That's this story! Doc Ock takes over Peter Parker's body and hilarity ensues. Leia and Josh welcome back Patrick Stout Garrity to talk about Batman R.I.P.! Leia experiences Bat Mite for the first time, we tell you a bunch of things you ABSOLUTELY should not Google, as well as the worst named love interest AND the worst named supervillain! God DAMMIT, Grant Morrison!

Punk bands! Ghosts! Haunted houses! ...kaiju?!? Leia and Josh welcome back Stephanie Tyson to talk about Homesick Pilots! This comic book is crack mad in the best ways. Of course, we can't stay on task and talk a lot about the musical artist Poe and her brother who wrote House of Leaves.

Josh and Leia welcome NEW guest Eric Lohmeier to discuss the definitive Teen Titans event - The Judas Contract! Oh man, the 80's. Oh man, teenagers. And oh man...pedophilia?!? Yep, we go places. And we break down THAT relationship. Gross. So, so gross.

Josh and Leia are joined by Special Guest Sabrina Pandora, writer of Giant Girl Adventures to talk about Amazons Attack! A fantastic guest and a stinker of a comic - this book makes absolutely no sense. The characters all act very atypical. It's a Wonder Woman comic with almost no Wonder Woman. And we all have an unhinged time with it.

We. Are. Back! Season 8 picks up with some unfinished business from Season 7! Adjunct Professor Alan Pursell joins Leia and Josh to finish out Gotham City Year One! DC Comics history, discussions about creators and Leia gets her Season 8 gift in the form of AEW's RJ City!

Josh and Leia welcome Josh's high school friend John Schwegler to talk about Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe! In this, Josh and Leia establish that what they're really here for is to provide content while exhausted parents mow. And, of course, they mix that with a whole bunch of murder and mayhem courtesy of the Merc With A Mouth!

Just in time for 2026 we give you a present in the form of a special episode! Special guest, DC expert and Alan Moore cosplayer Alan Pursell joins Leia and Josh to discuss Gotham City: Year 1! We couldn't let 2025 slip by without doing one more Tom King book, and this one is a doozy! References to DC creators aplenty plus an interesting story laying the very foundation of Gotham City bare!
