Legal professionals rarely get the training that modern law firms need to thrive - coding, client focus, networking.  Our guest is an attorney and entrepreneur,  Aaron Baer who helps us dive into dysfunction at law firms and the reasons modern lawyers want to take advantage of new opportunities outside of their comfort zone.  Aaron and Mike share their experiences in law firms and how they personally took a modern approach to thrive outside of traditional firm operations. Mike and Irasema ask Aaron to share his networking tips, we discover why Mike needs 56 takes for a one-minute video, and Irasema shares a networking horror story experience.

Irasema Jeffers and Mike Harris met while doing some networking with legal professionals...during the pandemic. Networking in a zoom room - yeah, super awkward.  They figured out quickly, not everyone defines networking in the same way. Some people define it as a way to get a job, how to sell a product - while others quite frankly define it as hell on earth.  Join their journey to bring others together by having conversations that prove that no matter your strengths or perceived weaknesses, the one thing we all have in common is humanity.
