C3 Metals Inc's Steve Hughes speaks with Proactive soon after announcing results for five of the ten outstanding drill holes at the Jasperoide copper-gold skarn/porphyry project in Peru, which included 32.4 metres of 3.8% copper and 0.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 84.0m. The company says the assay results are some of the highest copper grades reported on the project to date.  Steve also updates the plans for Jamaica.

C3 Metals Inc's Steve Hughes speaks to Proactive after reporting more positive drill results from its flagship Jasperoide copper-gold project in Peru, further suggesting the presence of a copper-gold porphyry system. The assays hail from five holes at the Montana de Cobre prospect and were sunk on section JAS2700, which sits 50 metres (m) north of high-grade copper-gold mineralization reported previously from another section.

C3 Metals Inc's Steve Hughes speaks to Proactive following a review of historic data from its Bellas Gate project that indicates good potential for porphyry and epithermal copper and gold. Bellas Gate, which is in Jamaica, hosts over 40 known copper and gold prospects and mineral occurrences. Two of those prospects are advanced-stage porphyry copper-gold, while another two porphyry targets are considered “highly prospective”.

C3 Metals Inc's Steve Hughes tells Proactive that drilling at its flagship Jasperoide copper-gold project in Peru is continuing to suggest the presence of a porphyry deposit at depth. The company's reported assays from three holes, which were sunk 50 metres north of previously high-grade drill intercepts reported in May this year, and include an intercept of 99.81m at a grade of 0.90% copper and 0.34 grams per ton gold from 68.4m depth.

C3 Metals Inc's (CVE: CCCM) VP of Exploration Steve Hughes discusses with Proactive the start of a geophysical program at the Jasperoide project in Peru to guide deeper drilling of high-grade copper-gold mineralization intersected near the Montaña de Cobre zone and to define additional targets for drilling. The program will include an 1,800 line km helicopter-borne magnetic and radiometric survey and a 43 line km ground Induced Polarisation survey.

Drilling kicked off in February in the southern Montaña de Cobre zone with 15 holes now completed.  They say results from seven holes on the first drill section intersected broad zones of high-grade copper-gold mineralization.  The drill program now moves to its planned 10,000 meters looking to expand the near surface copper-gold footprint.
