What do you do when people try to label you with cruelty, pity, or disbelief? Cyndi shows how to answer harmful words with an identity so secure it cannot be shaken—even after losing her hands and feet. This powerful episode is a reminder that your worth does not come from the world, the comments, or the stares. It comes from something deeper. Cyndi shares the spiritual truth she returns to when life gets painful: who you are in Christ, and why that changes everything. You'll hear how Cyndi reframes hurtful remarks, why Ephesians 1 becomes a lifeline in hard moments, and how forgiveness, closeness, redemption, and being beloved can transform the way you respond when others try to define you. She also explores Hebrews 1 and the image of Jesus as the radiance of God's glory—a warm glow that becomes a model for shining through hardship. If you've ever struggled with shame, criticism, or the weight of other people's opinions, this episode offers a steady spiritual reset. Cyndi's story encourages listeners to stand firm, forgive, and remember that their light was never meant to be hidden. A moving invitation to live from divine identity instead of worldly labels—and to shine boldly, beautifully, and without apology.

What appears to be an ending, can be a beginning.
Cyndi recently had the chance to sit down with Mike Sherbino at The Perspective and share more about her journey without hands and feet. This story isn’t just about surviving—it's about discovering that she wasn’t alone in her suffering, and that God was crying with her. There was a moment she realized she had nothing left—her hair was being cut, her body broken, her world turned upside down. But then, she felt it: the tears of Jesus, crying with her. That moment changed everything.
Cyndi now leads a ministry called Shine On Missions, helping families in crisis and inspiring children through her stories—like her beautiful book, Shine on Maisie. It’s about a fragile daisy that finds strength through love, purpose, and the presence of Jesus. Her story reminds us that even in our storms, we aren’t truly alone; we have a God who weeps with us—and who empowers us to shine.
