She is the most splendid form of the Cosmic Mother. She is the true divine queen of all kings (Rajarajeshwari), the merciful protective energy of the Cosmos.

Sri Durga devi-Goddess Durga represents Shakthi, the female principle of energy, the counterpart of Shiva. She is the Goddess of valor and slayer of demons that were personifications of ego, ignorance, sloth, etc. We invoke the Mother Durga to help us annihilate within ourselves all negative forces; all weaknesses. She bestows blessings on women for a happy married life. Durga is acalled the Mother Goddess. Durga means “inaccessible”, and she is the personification of the active side of divine “Shakthi” energy of Lord Shiva. She is the ferocious protector of the righteous and the destroyer of the evil. Durga is revered for protection and enlightenment.

Lalita Maha Tripura Sundari is a Hindu goddess and one of the ten Mahavidyas the incarnations of Parvati. She is the Shakti/consort of Sadasiva, the Prakriti to his Purusha. Lalita manifests as Goddess Sati, Goddess Parvati, in Shakta literature. #Lalita TripuraSundari Devi is considered to be the most potent incarnation of Parvati or simply Her saguna roopa. She, along with Sadasiva is responsible for the Pancha-Kriyas - Sristi or creation, Sthithi or protection, Samhara or destruction, Thirodhana or concealment of the world in Maya and Anugraha or final liberation. She is best known as the Devi glorified in the Lalita Sahasranama and as the subject of the Lalitopakhyanam (story of the goddess Lalita) in Hinduism.

Saraswati's name means 'elegant', 'flowing', and 'watery' and this is indicative of her status as one of the early Aryan boundary rivers. The Saraswati River (modern name: Sarsuti), just like the Ganges River, flows from the Himalaya and is considered a sacred source of purification, fertility, and good fortune for those who bathe in her waters. The sacred river, again like the Ganges, then developed into a personified deity.

The three principal forms of Durga worshipped are Mahagauri, Chandika and Aparajita. Of these, Chandika has two forms called Chandi and Chamunda who is created by the goddess Kaushiki for killing demons Chanda and Munda. She is known as the supreme goddess Mahishasuramardini or Durga who slayed the demon Mahishasura.

She is also considered to be the goddess of Kashi in Uttar Pradesh. Kashi or Varanasi is called the city of light as the goddess does not only provide nourishment to the body, it provides nourishment to the soul in the form of enlightenment. She gives us the energy to attain knowledge.
