Last year was a year of learning lessons. One of which was how to set boundaries and how to stick with said boundaries. My boundaries are probably stupid to some, but that’s ok. They’re mine and that’s what matters. I had to learn that if people don’t accept my boundaries, then I don’t have to accept their friendship. I recorded this episode to let y’all know that if you’re facing this problem, you’re not alone. It’s a hard thing to learn, but I’m so glad I did. Sometimes, people love to say that someone isn’t valid if they don’t participate in their in-person BDSM community. What they fail to realize is that maybe the people can’t physically get to the locations. Maybe they’re not comfortable in social settings with strangers.
