It all started in 2020 with the City of Toronto summer camp and swimming program, where 'A' faced some uncomfortable incidents with City staff. 'A' created a recording for City staff on inclusionary, gender-affirming practices for gender-diverse kids. This recording was heard by City staff yet little has changed. 'A' also shares some thoughts on events happening south that are impacting Trans youth and Drag queen protests. For the first time ever 'A' celebrated the winter holidays with familia back home! They share fun, thoughtful and observational experiences about their trip and other life-changing events! 

This year recap is about 'A's thrilling adventure attending Elvis Presley competitions. It involved a long drive, camping in a car and being the youngest fan attending the main event. 'A' shares their loss of their sweet pet CJ. And ends with a brief year wrap up.

It's been a fun-filled pack summer! "A" shares their love for NYC plus meetups with new friends and family.   Season 2 celebrates with a new launch of an IG @kidslikemepodcast account.  There will be postings of a day in a life of an urban Kichwa Indigenous, Non-Binary podcaster living life like any 10 yr old with laughter, adventures, inquisitive questions and maybe a little mischief too! Tio Marcos (tio means uncle in Spanish) shares his musical journey, including his band Kanatan Aski's 1994 Juno nomination for World Beat Music. The Junos (Canadian Music Award) is the equivalent of the USA Grammy awards. We also learn about his love for jewellery making. In this episode mom and child organically share how they both feel about speaking about sex education. Its new territory for both. Engaging in this conversation dismantles years of the unspoken between parent/child and instead look at this as a new beginning and most importantly a positive direction in having informed information that is transparent and honest.

In honour of Indigenous People's Day, 'A' speaks about the effects of deforestation to all living things 'A' also talks about Autumn Peltier-Indigenous Water Rights Advocate and on the lack of clean water for Indigenous peoples living on Turtle Island (Canada).
