Christie shares a wealth of information for parents on how to support healthy vision for their children. She talks about red flags in small children (when to seek an evaluation) and her recommendation that every child have an eye exam before entering kindergarten. Truckee-based Mom and Engineer-Architect Renee Elsdon Jacobs shares how she continues to challenge and push herself to set FKTs - Fastest Known Times  or speed records - on mountain trail routes. Renee is a volunteer Board member for the Donner Party Mountain Runners and has set multiple FKTs on extraordinary routes in the Sierras. School psychologist Nick Bartlett takes us through "The 3 Stands" of the Nurtured Heart Approach. Nick is the Special Education Program Specialist at Tahoe Truckee Unified School District.
