An independent Australian artist and creator of original country music. Darren Gillis writes his music based around experiences along life’s road. 
 Inspired by artists such as Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Travis Tritt and Merle Haggard, Darren’s music has a country feel with a blues twist which is upbeat, fun and easy to listen to. Each song tells a story and has been written from the heart. He hopes that his audience can relate in their own way. 
 Darren’s work-life has led him all over Australia. He has worked in some very remote localities both in the Kimberley and Central Australia. He now resides in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia where he has been busy writing some fresh new stories which will be shared soon.
