उन्हें छूना था किसी बहाने तो दरवाज़े पे खड़े हो गए लगा रहा था हर कोई गले मौत को, कातिल की बाहों में सो गए । आफ़रीन ना कह सकूँ उसको, चेहरे को चाँद की उपमा ना दे सकूँ । चले है हम उस रास्ते , जहां पतंगे समा के संग खो गयी । हम है कि तेरा ख़्याल दिल से जाता नही , तुम हो कि हमें भूले ज़माना हो गया ।
