It’s a hard truth to hear, but we need to hear this and adapt and change to be able to reach the successful us we have envisioned. Remember your success is determined by your daily agenda. Every choice we make daily needs to benefit the success of tomorrow. It’s never too late to turn things around. The choices you make today will determine the success of tomorrow. Be the one that decides to the little extra, to put in more hours and the one that develops their own skills and adds value by adding value to yourself. Success is a choice; all you have to do is chose success.

As we already know, success is defined differently from each person.  In this talk Tony Robbins covers many different aspects of reaching success. To be successful, we know that we need to find your skill or talent and develop on this. We also know that we need to set goals and work toward them intentionally. To be reach our success we must be consistent and determined, gain knowledge, and manage our time. However, over all the number one key to all success is personal power.  To have personal power is to take full control of your vision, to be able to act on your dream and goals.  Have the ability to take action and follow through, take you dream and goal and make it your success reality.

Don’t wait for success to be handed to you, go out and get it. Be determined and work for your success intentionally every single day. To reach our full success potential, we must encompass Zig Ziglar’s three rules. Be the successful person you have envision for yourself. Do the actions and work that the successful you will encompass. And then have all the success that you see for yourself. Be, Do and have success, but we must be determined, committed, consistent and have the successful character that has impact and influence.

If you are comfortable today with what you were comfortable with yesterday, you are already in trouble.  We must be intentional with what we do and who we are to be able to get up the success hill. The more valid reasons we have to reach our success, the higher the odds will be that we will reach our success. Be sure that your success goal is really yours. Don’t live what others have seen for your success. Ask successful people a lot of questions and listen, learn from what they have to say, learn from their actions and humble yourself and become the perfect teachable student. Concentrate on your strengths and not your weaknesses. Remember you are responsible to take action on what you see today to lay the foundation of tomorrows success.  You may not know how you will reach your success, but don’t let the fear of the unknown hold you back. Go for your success with all your power and intention.

Jim Rohn is absolutely one of my favourites and most influential icons, he has provided us with 3 steps to be able to make great changes in our lives. Step One, find out how things work, encompass a child-like eagerness to learn more. Step Two, go to work, take action, and formulate a game plan and start. You need to have a “Heavy Action Game Plan”. Remember as Denzel Washington says, “You don’t plan to fail, you fail to plan.” And lastly step three, don’t try to beat the system, if you are going to take the action, don’t try use short cuts or cut the corner, do things the right way, even if it takes you twice as long. Be a quick learner, don’t be stubborn and be ready and embrace any form of change. With these 3 steps, Jim Rohn has helped us find a fantastic starting point and using them we will pave our way to success.

Today’s clue is provided to us by Dr Wayne Dyer, where he explains what the importance is of living in the present moment. Live in the present moment and do not get caught in the wake. Many of us struggle and want to blame the symptoms of not being in the present moment. Be present in the moment and become aware of your reactions to the struggle and learn and grow from this. Don’t be defined by your wake because you are living in the past and never forget to envision your successful future but live in the present to able to build the foundation your future success will be built upon. Being and living in the present will allow you to break through the barrier and achieve the success you have dreamt of. Become the present successful you.

Today’s clue is provided to us by Simon Sinek, and he explains what it is that any successful person must be able to do. Take the advice that Simon Sinek gives us, don’t listen to respond. The only time when you become a good listener is when someone feels heard. Being a good listener is a vital part to being successful. Learn how to keep quiet and listen with the intent to hear and process what you have just heard and then respond. There is much more that can be learnt from silence and attentive listening than to blurt out the information or thought that you have relative to the topic. Be fully present in the moment and do not think of your response while the other person is talking, that is living in the future. Fully encompass the attributes of a good listener and ensure that others are heard. Learn from what you have heard in silence and be the success that outshines all others.

Today’s clue is provided to us by motivational speaker, Lisa Nichols, lets listen together. The first brutal truth about success, is that success will always cost you something. In order to reach success, be realistic about your expectations of what you will have to give up, it may be time, relationships or even the weekend away, but be willing and prepared to pay the price and make the sacrifice. The second truth is that success can be and will be at some point a very lonely road, get ready for it. Stay committed and determined and be your own cheerleader and motivation, only you can see your success vision. And the third truth about success is that you cannot, by any means only measure success by the bank balance in your account or even how many social media likes and followers you have. There are so many reasons why someone can be seen as successful. It could be the happiness and joy that you have in your home life, or the even the influence and impact you have on those around you. Ensure you measure your success with fulfilment, be sure that your success is not hollow. I believe that you are already such an amazing success.

We sometime do not realize that we are being taught. Never stop your pursuit for knowledge. Combine your knowledge as well as your wisdom to make an impact. Through ensuring your servants towel is bigger and used often, you will be an influence and make an impact. Aim high and miss, because at least then you will land amongst the stars. Never aim small and hit. Take these lessons that Rick Rigsby’s 3rd grade dropout father gave him and apply them. Live intentionally and live to have an impact and live to be an influence on others. If you are going to be an influence and want to reach your success, ask yourself each day “how am I living?” And live intentionally to reach your success and be of impact.

Richard St. John gave this speech at TED talk and recaps nearly all of the principles and values that we must encompass in order to be led to success. 1.    Passion, have passion for your why. 2.    Put in the work, its hard, but you can do the work. 3.    Become good or rather damn good at what you do. 4.    Focus, focus on your success, focus on what needs to be done to reach that success. 5.    Push, push through the sacrifices, push through the challenges and push through any negativity, and learn and grow from them. 6.    Serve, serve others, add value to them, provide them with excellence, whenever they come across your path. 7.    Ideas, believe in your ideas, make them your passion, and take the risks. 8.    Persist, always persist, never give up, every no is that one step closer to a yes. As Richard St John puts it, these are big 8 things that lead to success. Encompass them and transform into the successful you.

As Steve Harvey’s mother said, “God blesses you to become a blessing.” We all are such a vast and beautiful array of personalities, backgrounds, and beliefs, and we all have the capabilities and higher faculties within us to achieve our own unique and different visions of success. However, to ensure the outer world knows and understands what our vision is, we must write it down. When you write down your vision of success, not only will the outer world and universe conspire to give to you, but you also, you will begin to encompass everything needed to reach that success vision. Write down your success vision and go for it whole heartedly.
