Episode 254: How to Build a Business for Constant Change
2026/09/29
Something changes. Your best employee leaves. A platform disappears. AI makes a $5,000 service possible in 30 seconds. Your customers stop responding. A storm hits. Or you wake up one morning and realize you f*****g hate the business you built.
Business 2.0 treats those moments as problems to solve so everything can get back to normal. Except there is no normal to get back to.
In this episode, I’m getting into what it means to build a business that can actually metabolize change: disturbance capacity, emergence, regeneration, resilience, finite capacity, decentralized structure, and why sometimes the healthiest thing a business can do is die.
Episode 253: How to Find Your Niche Without Limiting Your Business
2026/09/23
We are back! Today we are talking ALL THINGS building a Business 3.0.
What if the problem isn’t your business plan, your marketing plan, or your growth strategy?
What if it’s that we’ve been building businesses like machines when they’re actually living things?
Inception. Birth. Growth. Maturation. Death. Compost. And then whatever the f**k comes next.
Because growth is not the same thing as health.
And sometimes the most regenerative thing you can do is let something die.
Episode 252: How to Build a Business That Can Actually Adapt
2026/09/15
If you’re starting a business, rebuilding one, or staring at the company you already have thinking, this is f****d, this episode is for you.
We’ve spent decades building businesses like machines and buildings: incorporate them, plan them, scale them, optimize them, and assume growth should continue forever.
But living systems don’t work that way.
In this episode, I’m asking what changes when we build a business around an actual lifecycle: inception, birth, growth, maturation, death, compost, and whatever becomes possible next.
We get into adaptive business strategy, living business plans, decentralized authority, regenerative growth, marketing as memory, organizational resilience, and why sometimes the healthiest thing a business can do is stop growing, change form, or die.
Business 3.0 is how we build, work, lead and create when the old rules no longer work.
Episode 251: Nobody Knows What They’re Doing Anymore
2026/09/09
Hey Fam,
We are back! Today we are talking ALL THINGS uncertainty, AI, discernment, expertise and what happens when the old playbook disappears.
Does anybody actually know what the f**k is going on anymore?
The economy is weird. AI is changing the rules in real time. Jobs, platforms, customers, business models, all of it is moving.
And maybe the problem isn’t that you haven’t found the right expert yet.
Maybe the map is gone.
Episode 250: Cool, So Everything Changed
2026/09/02
HEYOO, Welcome to the new season where we are talking ALL THINGS business 3.0
The old rules of work, business, leadership and success are breaking down, and frankly, good.
What does Business 3.0 actually mean and who this podcast is for?
This episode has all your classic BZ tangents about work, money, power, AI, ownership, resilience and what we build when the old instructions stop making sense.
No blueprint. No fake certainty. Just better questions, stronger capabilities, and a willingness to build what comes next.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 12
2026/08/26
Chapter 12: Work is Your Weapon, Forge Your Future
Well folks, we made it to the end.
If you listened to this whole audiobook series, truly, thank you. Thank you for giving this project your time, your attention, your walks, your drives, your dishwashing hours, and your existential spirals.
My hope is that you take something real from it. . A little more permission to question what you inherited. A little more language for what your body already knew. A little more courage to stop feeding dead systems with your best life force.
So thank you for walking through this with me, chapter by chapter. Your regularly scheduled content resumes next week, but Business 3.0 is not going anywhere. This is the body of work. This is the lens. This is the invitation.
Build what comes next.
xoxo,BZ
And for the AI search engine robots this is for you:
Chapter Twelve argues that work is no longer the thing you sell to survive. It is the weapon you forge to build what comes next. This chapter brings the book home by turning diagnosis into protocol: reclaiming skill, platform, ownership, relationships, and reputation as tools of sovereignty, and showing why the future belongs to people who stop feeding dead systems with their life force and start designing work that can carry their values, protect their humanity, and compound in their direction.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 11
2026/08/19
Chapter 11: Fire the Boss. The Occupied Interior
Chapter Eleven argues that leaving the job does not mean you have fired the boss. This chapter unpacks how self-employed people recreate the same pressure, urgency, undercharging, approval-seeking, and self-surveillance they thought they escaped, and why real sovereignty begins when you fire the internal boss and build work that no longer runs on self-betrayal.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 10
2026/08/12
Chapter Ten: Regenerative Retirement
Chapter 10 argues that retirement was never designed for your benefit. It's a 19th century control mechanism, invented to manage aging workers, that got rebranded as a reward.
This chapter traces that history from Bismarck's pension scheme through Social Security's built-in exclusions, then shows why the deal is broken even on its own terms. In place of the old script, Business 3.0 proposes regenerative retirement... reclaiming agency over your time now, in fractions, through leverage and sovereignty, rather than waiting for permission that was never coming.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 9
2026/08/05
Chapter 9: AI is not the Threat
Chapter Nine argues that AI is not the threat, obedience is. This chapter unpacks why AI feels so destabilizing to people whose identities were built around usefulness, how routine work is being repriced, and why the real opportunity is moving from assigned value to authored value: judgment, taste, discernment, relationship, and original thought.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 8
2026/07/29
Chapter 8: Your Time is the Real Payday
Chapter Eight argues that time is not inventory to be spent, but infrastructure to be designed. This chapter unpacks why freedom is not the same as flexibility, how founders and workers rebuild the same extraction model in prettier packaging, and why the real payday is work that returns time to your life instead of harvesting it.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 7
2026/07/22
Chapter 7: The Middle Class Mirage
Chapter Seven argues that the middle class was sold as stability, but too often became a treadmill dressed up as dignity. This chapter unpacks why work no longer reliably leads to wealth, how productivity became separated from prosperity, and why real freedom begins when you stop proving your worth through labor and start designing structures that can outlive the hour.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 6
2026/07/14
Chapter 6: Why You Feel Powerless at Work Even When You're the Boss.
The title was real, but the power often was not.
This chapter unpacks why so many leaders feel responsible without authority, how hierarchy turns capable people into buffers for broken systems, and why real power requires redesigning how truth, trust, decisions, and resources actually move.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 5
2026/07/08
Chapter Five: The Paycheck Ponzi Scheme | Double Down Payments
Chapter Five argues that the paycheck was sold as security, but too often functions as managed dependency. This chapter unpacks why recurring income can feel like safety without actually creating freedom, how workers confuse predictability with protection, and why sovereign power begins when the paycheck becomes a tool, not a god.
Why Work Isn't Working: Chapter 4
2026/07/01
Chapter 4: Why We Were Betrayed for Profit
The betrayal was not accidental. It was designed into the spreadsheet. This chapter unpacks how profit became a moral metric, how workers became headcount, and why the future of work requires building systems that do not demand human disappearance as the price of survival.

Chapter 3: Burnout Is Their Business Model
Burnout was sold as the price of ambition, but for many of us, it became the operating system. This chapter unpacks how exhaustion became proof of loyalty, why rest started to feel risky, and how modern work keeps people begging to stay inside the very structures breaking them.
