How much is too much when it comes to population size? And of course how we have all failed the most vulnerable people in our society. Migration shouldn’t be the threatening issue that it is and it is extremely easy for crises to happen when your economy isn’t diversified making you want to flee your country as well. This episode touches on the necessary adjustments that must be made if we want to avoid the actual catastrophes that occur as populations continue to grow. In this episode I discuss the evolution of Geography as a study, with a timeline of where it all started and what it is now. I also talk about cartography, which is the science of mapping, and what lessons we've learnt (and are yet to learn) by comparing the earth to food, and allowing rich people to own boats. We'll also get into some issues surrounding colonialism and imperialism that are more significant than you might have thought.
